[SPOILERS] Bismark of Sumeria (luddite + Atlas1998)

so what's plan of attack or is it still in planning stage?

The attack plan is pretty simple
[Image: seukix.jpg]
I have a road half-built on the wines, so I can get my army to the hills easily. From there, It can stay on the hills all the way up to his new city. That city will be guarded by the river up above, so any counter attack by him will be difficult. If he settles a new city right now to the south, I'll take it on the way, too. And meanwhile, I'll be teching construction, giving me catapults and bridges.

I know that his power has stayed flat since our little skirmish, and his production has nosedived. Meanwhile, mine has skyrocketed. He won't be able to stop my attack- vultures are the perfect unit for early hill-fights like this. And once I take that city, he won't be able to take it back. I'll put the great library there, cover the isthmus in my culture, and the entire southern land will be mine.

To show what I mean, this is the ridiculous production graph:

Nice job with the production spike. What are the main factors of the sharp increase?

it's a combination of forges, and growing pop onto mines to take advantage of them.

Sounds like he's scared by my military buildup (I'm currently second in soldiers). I'm still thinking about how to respond to this. Probably I'll do some more fake-negotiation.

More diplomacy with Mackoti. Seems he's scared by my rapidly rising power (I'm now #1 in soldiers). here was my offer to him:

Quote:That's kind of you to offer. The problem is, if it's just temporary, then I won't be able to grow the cities for very long before it runs out. What about selling me the gems? Say, 10gpt for gems?

Quote:hi,
Lets say 12 gold per turn and we have a deal.
regards,
Mackoti

Quote:Hmm I guess I can do that. But, I'd need a guarantee that you'd keep trading me the gems for at least 100 turns.

I still want his cities smile

Not yet. He doesn't have gems yet either, though.
