I don't have much in the way of reads on anyone. Novice has a plausible defense, unless his power is to be some sort of self-harming SCUM or he someone got hurt in a night action without alerting the person who wounded him.
I'd place Rowain as being closer to SCUM than village, because the idea of a healing SCUM is compelling to me, and with one of our half-vigs already down the risk of a SCUM needing to conserve their healing power to help one of their own seems low. Healing a villager they can just consume in the night anyway is a good play. That's what I'd do, were I SCUM.
There's a good chance that Catwalk is just a weak village player. But I'll keep my vote on him at the moment, because it's difficult to separate ill-advised comments from the genuinely disingenuous.
I really do want people on the chopping block to have a chance to show off their power or make a final case before the last vote falls on them. I know that I'd want to opportunity to use mine, which isn't impressive or a game-changer, but could still help the village (obviously it's a day power).

Seems to me like they'd have to badly expose themselves to save a fellow SCUM. Obviously SCUM can run around placing votes on each other early on without repercussions, nothing anyone can do about that.
Yes it would - if we could be sure that the one pulling his vote away is scum. But I don't see us being able to do that. After all, how many would have pulled off their vote of Winston had I told first that I'm going to vote for his lynch in 4 hours? Of course that would have been good for us in this case, but in other cases it might not, as I think more players are not sure of their vote then there are trigger-happy-players (like myself).
fake-edit: Reading your second post, I understand your feeling about the powers. But some have night-powers, so they can't show them anyway. And if Winston would have punched someone, would I have taken that as sign of a half-vig... or as sign of a scum who actually can half-kill other players at daytime? Not sure tbh.

Maybe you could simply mark them with yellow color? :neenernee

In this settings the votes have a meaning and as yesterday showed us can have consequences quite fast. So I want to see where somebody places his vote.

According to your logic possessing a day-time-power doesn't mean you are not SCUM. Afterall my heal happened during daytime and you still put me as SCUM-suspect .
I'm still sorely tempted to put vote nr 4 on Catwalk but lets try Erebus first

In last days case. Lewwyn and myself wouldn't have had a chance to move since we were both off this time span.

Thanks. I thought it is because it was a tactic used to quite some extent by the wolves in WW7. Roland and Ichabod both often placed late votes, letting the village in the dark what they were really thinking. I think at least Roland got even called for it (maybe even by me?) but talked his way out of it (being always like that...). Thats also why I tried to explain my feelings on all players, so that no one feels I am deliberately letting them in the dark.

Ok, so another reason for why it would not make too much sense to wait, as we would have to wait even longer. In my case if it happens soon after I go to bed, it could be up to 12 (and on days with meetings in the morning even more) hourse before I would even see what is going on.

Lets look at Sareln:
He is quite silent. the last day he did place a startvote then disappeared to return to make vote Nr5 on winston. Then followed 2 excuseposts for the winston-kill then again silence. Today 2 more posts one with some content and explaining his feelings about others but no vote.
What are you waiting for? Christmas?

Halloween. Christmas is too far away
I don't know how your perspective feels like, but I posted my reasoning for Winston and response on the thread in general about ~3 hours ago, then went off to seminar and am now back in lab. This is the middle of my work-day after all .
I want to vote for Catwalk, but I feel that if I do that now it's going to end up with a dead Catwalk w/out any more talking (like Yesterday).
