Ok, so quick recap. We need masonry for the quarry and the Wheel for the road on the Quarry. Also we have a hut coming up. I made some joke to Dazed about if he popped masonry/wheel from that hut I'd be thrilled, but it's of course a longshot. But.... Behold:
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Yesyesyesyes.
When Dazed told me by chat I fist-pumped at my desk. This will most definitely speed up Pyramids, and it'll cut WAY down on wasted worker turns. So yes, this is most definitely pretty awesome

Well, i'm just following our new micro plan thanks to Scooter so not much to report. I'm not sure if scooter was thinking abotu making the micro plan available to lurkers since it opens up abuse from Krill. Wait.. he's in this game! Never mind. Here's the plan (constantly being updated, fyi)

Yeah this is very much a work in progress as you'll notice. Be gentle ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif) . Haven't gotten the worker plan nailed down quite yet, but really all that matters is that we have the stone hooked by the time we overflow the WB whip into the Pyramids. Other than that it's just chop til we're done. Fun fun.

I should talk about this briefly. Dazed and I actually probably need to discuss this via chat to ensure we're on the same page about this, but there's really two approaches to chopping here with Pyramids:
1) Try to time a bunch of chops to complete at the same time right as Mids finishes
2) Get it as quickly as possible
#2 is riskier. Basically, what could happen is we dump 2-3 chops into Pyramids only for someone to finish before us, whereas #1 would ensure that IF someone beat us, we could divert chops into something else and not needlessly lose our forests. However, we are likely to finish Pyramids silly-quickly here. Nobody builds the thing with 2 cities and there's a reason for that - it's expensive. However, we've also never had a time where and IND civ had stone on their doorstep either. The only possible way someone beats us is if one of the two IND civs also has Stone right next to them and rushes it harder than us. And that seems VERY unlikely and I'm not even sure it's possible. So for all those reasons, I'm leaning towards #2 which means chops will be desposited into Pyramids several turns before it finishes - going for most efficient worker management (and quicker Mids time) rather than wasted worker turns in exchange for not wasting chops if we get beat.
Dazed, you on board with that? We can talk on chat sometime if you want.

I think #2 is better. It's technically riskier but someone would REALLY have to have tried hard (and also have stone) to beat us. I don't think that'll happen. The only question I have is are we pushing too hard, too early and hurting our Rex'ing? I think it's worth it but I'm not worried about losing those chops too much.

We sort of went over this in a chat, but I'll briefly answer this here:
dazedroyalty Wrote:The only question I have is are we pushing too hard, too early and hurting our Rex'ing?
Yes, we are pushing a bit too hard and this will slightly slow down our expansion... However the good news is that rexing hard is just much more difficult in rb mod with the nerf to slavery and the nerf to expansion traits. So that's helpful. But anyways, our land does suck but it becomes much better with Rep scientists, and I see that as the absolute best way to be a big player in this game. Thing is, given that there are two other IND in this game and more importantly, stone marble is NOT BALANCED, we need to push a bit harder. A non-IND player with stone in their cap BFC could give us a legitimate run for our money for instance.
Plus, I think Mids is slightly stronger in RB mod because 1) cottages are weaker because slavery is nerfed therefore the traditional whip + cottage economy is weaker and 2) teching is relatively more valuable with the lowered production capacity due to the slavery nerf. So yes, we're pushing a bit too hard and there's a reason people normally don't build the thing with 2 cities... but the unusual circumstances dictate our choices here. Plus we'll have 4 workers which is pretty decent - it'll pretty much be WB, granary, settler, etc for forever after this.

So what exactly is the Pyramids record date in an RB PB/PBEM?

What to do about this guy?
Also, poor warrior out west. He'll have odds to win but not great ones:

I didn't move the warrior near brick so as to avoid double moving him (I only played the last turn an hour ago). But I did log in to see what's up with our warrior in teh west. Not good news:

Yep, we used up all our luck on that Wheel tech pop. Expect to lose all dice rolls for about 20T. Which makes our potential Brick warrior kill look dicey. We're last to play so Brick has moved his warrior.
