2v2v2v2 team pitboss anyone?

Yeah, I don't think that should be a problem, HAK.

Yeah, I've started realizing that after my post. smile

That said, I can't think of a scenario where being on strike and not having a teammate able to cover the costs is a good thing, as that would mean that both teammates are on strike. That only works post-currency though, but pre-currency again there's nothing to gain by going on strike.

I'm not saying that would necessarily be a good situation. Just that if you make a rule against it, the game has to be able to continue if someone gets themselves into that situation and can't get out.

I see.

Actually, no wasn't even a viable option for striking now that I recall, so interpret our no as 'not if your partner can bail you out'.

What are we still waiting on? A turn/snake pick order would be nice for planning purposes, but obviously if there are still settings to vote that would be affected we need to resolve those first.

I think all settings are determined (from my summary post plus a couple subsequent posts) but we need all teams to sign off on them. Then we need a couple of things in any order:

a) A map, and starting screenshots.
b) Decide on an order for teams to play in based on playtimes. Then choose a random starting team.
c) Figure out hosting.

I believe my team currently signs off on all the settings as they've been decided on.
As for timezome, both myself and THH are in the EST. My personal playtimes are first thing in the morning (6:30-8am EST) and evening (after 7pm EST), and occasionally during lunch if I can pull it off.

The random starting team (and/or starting snakepicker) should be chosen by a non-player...such as either plako or Krill by some random method of their choosing.

Simply stating all the times you can play doesn't really help determine a turn order. Pick the time which is most reliable for your team to play and choose that as your timeslot.

I'm pretty sure I know our team's ideal timeslot but I'm going to confirm before posting it.

Just thought of something. Do we want to allow players to gift a just-captured city to their partner? (This rule could get a bit complicated.)
