Here is second preview for Warlord 1.5.
Second race that would add in next version (and likely to be the last one I planned to add) is "Hawkmen"
Hawkmen are winged humanoid people living in mountainous region of Arcanus. Different from beastmen and other half-animal people, they have 6 limbs. They have strong affinity with primal forces, this makes some scholars considered Hawkmen to be mortal descendents of their heralds. Hawkmen are spiritual but openminded people, this is only race that could build both temple and cathedral but could not build any economic buildings beyond basic marketplace. Hawkmen could utilized resource in mountainous region better than other race and each mountain tile give addtiional 0.25 max population to city but they have lowest fertility rate among Arcanians.
Hawkmen units have innate flying and first strike but always coming with 1 less figures than counterpart from other races. Hawkmen also could not build any ship and stable due to they don't see any need for it. Difference from other races, it is norm rather than exception for female hawkmen to participate in combat.
Notable units.
Eagle Warriors.
Replacement of generic halberdiers, Eagle warriors are fast moving ariel combatant. Their role is similar with halberdiers but also serve as cavalry replacement for race that has no access to cavalry.
Tomahawks.
Replacement of generic shieldbearers, Tomahawks are assault troops armed with two-handed axe. They move as fast as generic shieldbearers but these warriors abandon their shield for powerful armor piercing weapon.
Huichilobos.
Huichilobos are elite sacred warriors of Hawkmen society. Dressed as spriits of the sun and armed with poisonous serpentine hooked sword and throwning weapon. They are immune to fire and death curse and could summon phantom warriors to aid them in battle.
Harpies.
Replacement of generic bowmen, Harpies are female hawkmen warriors armed for skirmishing role. They equipped with throwing spears to thrown at close range and a few light javelins to use against far away enemies.
Holy Mothers.
Holy Mothers are the holiest of holy ladies closest to heaven. Hawkmen society worship them as if they are goddess on earth. They are excellent healer, could blesses allies, exorcises enemies, windwalking the army, and supernatural immunity to magic. But training of one Holy Mothers take prohibitive cost and they are strictly pacifist that walk the path of non-violence.
Enchantresses.
Replacement of generic disciples, Enchantress are magic users of Hawkmen society. Although they don't use range attack, they could fight properly in melee with poison hex and could curse enemy to unnatural slumber.
Sirens.
Sirens are dark side of primal forces. This supernaturally seductive ladies are hexers who would bring unnatural demise to any who oppose her in combat and steal the souls of enemies who don't know what they are dealing with.
Sky Lantern.
Transfer from Xuanyuan to Hawkmen due to it is not that useful for Xuanyuan race. Sky lantern repurpose into flying mechanical magical range attacker and its attacks gain armor piercing. This unit serves as main flyer-ranged attacker for Hawkmen.
