When was I supposed to have enough gold to build Trebs? My income maxed out at ~10k a turn after I had driven far into the center. In addition, the first major threat I saw was a Dragon, so a Treb certainly isn't going to help me with that. Seriously, how the heck did you get enough gold to build all those big units--did you just skip the majority of your builds?
I built like.. 3 dogs, 4 soldiers. Then i saved for a treb and put it in a defensive spot, where my enemy ( scooter ) would have had to run a dog in, and have it survive to find my treb. Luckily, trebs KO dogs. Built another treb to cover the 1st's flank, and then i pumped units. I didnt try and flood the map, i just played defensively, and inched closer and closer.
BTW- Bob's FoW map is still looking for 2 more players! Join today

Supposedly Wargroove is getting a DRM-free release this spring. I will buy it as soon as it does. I don’t want to run Steam on my PC only for the one game

So did you just ignore the other fronts (the center, Bob) superdeath? I guess I tried to cover everything (though I think you had a village while I had a barracks, not even counting the barracks I got in the center) which stretched me too thin.

Yeah those trebs absolutely killed me. I felt like I was in a strong position prior to that as I didn't get much early game focus, but getting over that bridge with the dogs to see and the units to get there without dying first was nearly impossible. The forest placement too, brutal. It meant I couldn't even get Knights in without taking treb fire. I wasted some units early trying to crack that defense when I should have just held that front same as you did and pushed elsewhere.
Also, sorry all for sucking in the recent FFA. Went basically all-in trying to secure a commander kill, and I couldn't quite pull it off.
