Caster of Magic Release thread : latest version 6.06!

Honestly, I think I figured out the issue... I seem to remember that WAY back in the day if I got too click happy when the popup happened for an enemy wizard casting that the game stood a good chance of freezing. It's been so long since I've played (at least a couple years) that I completely forgot about the issue wink

Everything is working PERFECTLY and I am getting my ass handed to me even on fair. Well, I'm doing fine but being VERY cautious to not anger the other heavily expansionist wizards.

Oh yeah, if you click on a global enchantment at the wrong fraction of second the game crashes. I still haven't figured out why although I tried a few fixes but since it's a "once in 1000 spells" kind of bug, it's pretty much impossible to actually fix. Either I get lucky and whatever I try did fix the bug, or not, seems like not.

...if it happens more often for you that seems to imply the crash is hardware related, I'm getting it extremely rarely. Like, if I intentionally try to click fast on the global I still only get it like 1 out of two dozens. At this point I suspect it might be some sort of an interrupt handling problem that makes the screen refresh for that particular window and the input handler conflict. If yes, that's extremely hard to find.

(You can turn global enchantment warnings or animations of the window off, that should help, if you really are getting it so often it's a problem. Or just avoid clicking before the spell finishes the animation.)

Oh. That looks like the same that happens on the army screen - once per thousand times that you click on it anywhere afaicr.

Exactly that lucky unless you want all sorts of stacking bugs on units that have the two different kinds of the ability. Basically the solution to ensure the two different types do not stack is, the "hero lucky" with the red icon now grants the normal lucky (yellow icon) instead of stats directly. Since you can have items that grant the normal lucky on an already lucky hero, this was necessary.

Something funny at Azurtfall, check the production time. It is weird even if moved to housing - it gives it a 24 on the city screen. I've mostly done housing in this town.

Coincidentally - I have had to get this savefile from the program's folder this time rather than the folder
C:\Users\Lukche\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Caster Of Magic

No idea if this matters...

Your city has -119 total hammers already built. I wonder what you produced previously to get that to happen? Since production shouldn't complete unless it's actually complete and then the leftover can't be negative, this is definitely some sort of a bug.

Also, I believe I have read about a production bug somewhere years ago that gives you unlimited(?) production for a turn if you build specific things in a specific order but never really learned what actually causes it. Maybe related? Anyone knows more about that?

I've mostly built housing there, except buying the usual initial stuff - library etc, so I really don't see anything out of the ordinary... I don't think I've sold anything after conquering it if memory serves.
No idea... Would you like the previous savefiles?

Hello! I'm coming back to this game after a number of years and am very interested in this mod. However, I'm confused about the interaction of "Caster of Magic", and the "Master of Magic 1.51" patch. Do I install both, or just one?
