Speaker, I'm posting here so to not accidentally spoil something in the IT thread.
From what I understood, the issue is that you have either to play all your moves before Dantski or after him. Who goes first can be changed round by round. That means that either Dantski would have had to take the city on his own and then it would be your turn or you would have had to take the city on your own. But then you would not be allowed to gift it to Dantski before the next round (as Dantski was the first to go with bombarding he would not be allowed to move any more attacking units or take part in ingame-diplomacy with effects on the warfare).
And without having Dantski bombard, then you kill defenders, then have him take the city and then moving with your units through his culture you would not have been able to wipe out Nakors cannons - would you?
Btw: English is not my first language so if it reads as I would try to offend you, please do not take it as such. That post is only for giving you an idea about why Krill ruled the way he did.

Except that there is no limit on in-game diplomacy, which has been done out of turn on many occasions by many parties in this game.
I have no interest in allowing Nakor to reconsider the (unposted) mistakes he made on the subsequent turns, including the throwing away of several boats, 5 catapults, and 6 rifles. I really don't mean this as a threat, but if the game is reloaded, I am done playing. I have put up with a lot over the past 9 months "for the good of the game" and because we were in such a dominant position that it didn't matter anyways, but this is my breaking point.

You can also put down my resignation from the game if Krill insists on forcing a completely pointless and unnecessary reload. Seriously, there is no controversy here. None of the teams are complaining, or even care. This whole situation is a tempest in a tea kettle.
A game admin should be as invisible as possible, only appearing if the players ask him to moderate a dispute. Krill, you keep inserting yourself into the game unnecessarily over and over again, between your constant badgering of lurkers with your CODE OF CONDUCT (which no one seems to care about in the other seven games we're running here) and rules lawyering at every turn. This game will be best served if you just back off and let the teams handle things on their own. If there's any kind of dispute that needs resolving, we'll let you know.

Sullla, are you considering a full retirement from playing Civ4 after this? I'm definetely doing such, especially with Civ5's release around the corner (not that I'm buying Civ5 right away).
Civilization IV sure runs like a dream on my new computer.

Well, I don't know about Sullla, but I'm still playing Civ III, even with Civ IV and Civ V about to come out.

I know he may play another game in like a year or so, but my question still stands.

Sulla do you still play alpha centauri? I am playing a game now. Do you like alpha centauri? I sure do. Sulla don't you wish they would remake alpha centauri? I think that would be really cool.

Darrell This made me laugh. Did it make you laugh too, Sullla? If it did, that would be really cool.

This also made me laugh. I would also like to know if it would male Sullla laugh, as I believe I share a similar sense of humor, and if that's true then that would be almost as cool as the top 100 games of the decade list that was on gamespot the other day. That reminds me of a game I played recently as Ragnar where I lost by spaceship by one turn!

darrelljs and scooter, those posts are made of win. And they did make me laugh.
I'm back now, after driving 3500 miles in 9 days. Looks like we'll be up and playing again soon, I hope. Did we reload to the current turn? I admit I'm out of the loop a bit from traveling around Maritime Canda all last week. It sounded like we were able to stay with the current turn, which is really great news if true.
I'm sure Speaker will fill me in on what's going on later today.
