Thanks Athlete, I edited those links into my Demographics analysis post on the first page.
Played T20. First, some chat with Ruff. He's planning a phony war with Ad Hoc to get his warrior through.
Next, I moved our warriors and ordered Allen to chop:
Demographics before ending turn:
EOT we grew to size two and the governor assigned the copper to us, so the demographics our opponents will see:
I have to run.

Demographics analysis:
TT grew to size two. Rival power increased by 17000 - that's 1k pop for TT and Bronze Working (8k) for both TT and Pegasus.
Score: Everybody got [strike]9[/strike] 11 from their T0 land tiles. TT got three from population, and TT and Pegasus got 6 from Bronze Working.
Crop yield: Rival best is 10, which I'll guess is TT with a governor-assigned rice. Ad Hoc has 5 and Ruff has 7. For the average to become 7 and not 8 that means Pegasus has 9, so he's working the copper town (no hammer yield from that on T19).
That means, GNP-wise:
Ad Hoc: 37
Ruff: 7 culture + 4 ep + (16 or 20 dependent on Agri or BW) = 27 or 31
Pegasus: 2 culture + 4 ep + 16 = 22
TT: 2 culture + 4 ep + 12 (includes the commerce from the rice) = 18
Average: 37+22+18+(27 or 31)/4 = 26 or 27. The actual average is 27 so I guess Ruff is on Bronze Working this turn.
I have to run.

Speedy turnplay - nice work.
Am I going mad or did everyone gain 11 points from the land area bonus?

So TT has Bronze Working, and already starts with Hunting. He can have Impi out pretty soon. Fingers crossed that he is in between Pegasus and ad hoc!

You're right of course. Each tile is worth 2000/total number of land tiles. On this map that's 2000/1617, so 9 tiles work out to a score of 11.

Yeah, his worker is probably farming the rice now, and his current build might be a barracks. He can have copper hooked up in 4 turns if he wants to and start spitting out shock Impis...
If we meet TT as our western neighbour we should of course try to get a NAP, preferrably one that lasts us to Machinery. I guess we could give him a favourable border agreement in exchange. It's the best he can hope to achieve anyway, apart from ruining another player's game.
We might also want to leave our warriors out west to form a sentry net, and build replacements back home.
Finally, our second city should maybe go to the corn, we won't have to wait for AH to make that city productive. I suggest following Alibi with Seven and moving SW-NW with Four.
I have to run.

Eek. By your micro plan, we won't get copper hooked up until Turn 33 I think.
If I was TT I'd probably use the Impis as a nuisance factor rather than an all-out rush, but I'm not sure that he'll do that.

I very much doubt he'll sign an NAP to neutralise his UU right up until our UU might be operational.

I like the sound of that.

Not sure about pushing our first city towards TT if that's who it is to the immediate west. Those moves for the warriors were in my mind too - let's see what they show up.

The problem with that is you make game-long enemies out of your closest neighbours, without taking them out of the game.
Call me a cheese-eating surrender monkey, but I'd try to negotiate with TT, after first gauging his intentions. We can stipulate that he can cause annoyance, and offer him something not to do that. That something could be land, gold, units or cooperation. If we work something out amicably, he can go a more aggressive route with Pegasus.
Let's hope the players are ordered in turn order, though. If so, our western neighbour is Pegasus.

We could settle close to PA. NE of the corn, for example. That would shield our capital somewhat. I did a quick sim, and we can dedicate one worker to our second city and the other two to the Oracle. Our second city will be size 4 by the time Oracle is completed, so it is a much stronger spot short term than sheep/gold/cows.
I have to run.
