[SPOILERS] Catherine of China

I think if we want to war, then it might not be a bad idea to do it now. This way, at least we can potentially mess with his hooking up of the tile. I mean, assuming he has 4 warriors, he has another guarding the new city or guarding his capitol. If we declare, we can follow the line of trees and either harass his new city or mess with his tile improvements around the capitol

I think he is planning on settling 2N of rice. Otherwise this path wouldn't make that much sense. If it was further north then he would have moved onto the hill north of where he is now. There's a line of trees and hills so he's probably not going to run to a site 2N. That leaves 2N of Rice unless he founds in place (possible).

We're going to make one axe anyway to hold c2 so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a 2nd axe out there as well.

So I guess attack and see how much we can set him back. Should be interesting. I don't think we'll be able to do much more with axes though unless we get really lucky with his copper (assuming he doesn't panic settle ontop of it) or prevent him from chopping anything. :-\

I pretty much agree. If we want war now is the best chance to declare. Moving warrior to NE and declaring would probably force him to do some 2nd best choices. I'm still not sure we want to fight so had to think about it.

There is remote possibility that he wants to settle on the tile where our warrior is, but that would mean no Copper for certain. If he settles in place or 1W of it he needs Wheel to connect the copper that is probably in the fog. Assuming he started it after BW we'll be too late with our Axes unless we can parh our warriors there.

"Friendly" chat with Warlord. For my surprise he moved settler where his warrior is. We should have good shot against this city with 2 Axes. I really doubt he can get copper hooked up soon enough. His best chance is that he researches Archery now to keep the city. I'll move our warrior NE to hopefully find his copper.

Declaration now doesn't make sense anymore.

Situation after our move. New positioning of c2 wink.

That's a real nice mountain peak you have there.

That is nice indeed. Maximum visibility and he needs to go around it.

However, after testing it would actually have made more sense to occupy the tile where his warrior is since his warrior would have always bounced when declaring i.e. he wouldn't have been able to go inside my territory when declaring. However I suspect I get a chance to use this knowledge in the coming turns.

It might be also best to settle on the position where his warrior is now. c2 is clearly a weaker spot. I wish there wouldn't be pigs where they're now that would be the best spot to take assuming he settles in place.

From civstats I noticed someone named Metallian loggen in on Warlord's account. I think I've seen that name somewhere in the league forums so that pretty much confirms his "no warrior rushing" community is the league or some clan there lol.

Not going to comment on game play, just saying you should really go with the original rather than "Come at me, Bro". The original "C'mon if you think yer 'ard enough" has so much more menacing a gravitas about it.

I wasn't familiar with neither of these before this so can't really comment (I probably shouldn't reveal my ignorance wink).

From practical point of view new version is shorter and fits better as city name. If you've suggestions that would preserve the original, but wouldn't be too long let me know.

Comeatmebro is more recent and has more pics especially pokemon such as:

With Lol as the capital, I was expecting the naming scheme to be internet acronyms, not memes. I don't really think of 'LOL' as a meme per se.

ComeAtMeBro won't really work as a city name if you plan on axe rushing warlord... lol Wasn't this the turn the peace treaty ended? Think he'll try some Li Ping doctrine shenanigans?
