.... 3 Grunts for every one assassin i guess. Gobo spears are out of the question. 160 gold, so it'll probably pay off for about 3 assassins 8 grunts?

I agree with Amelia -- mostly grunts with some assassins mixed in.

we managed to clear most of the enemy troops from the penisula so that force will soon go south. Sadly I did lose a pillager or two over there for several knights and horsemen. That bat also has just been a beast against those swords and horsemen.



I have sent some of the red and all the orcs to renforce this position all the new recruits of the enemy seem to be headed here don't know why though.



Meet our newest ally in this crazy crap shoot. Sir Shining the bastard that sold us out hired as an assasin and tried to kill his master.

I tasked those 3 gobos to clear the area and they were doing a good job but you prolly can move them north now that the woodmen and peasents are here.

Looks like pretty good turns, fire&ice. I was worried about that northern force from the enemy reaching our merman ally, good to see that dealt with. And it is also good to hear our bat has been effective, glad I recalled him.

So is Knight Shining an ally or an enemy? I certainly wouldn't trust the guy, but maybe it is the storyline and there has to be a "redeemed" human leader to make peace with or something.

Or maybe Clammie will finally get to kill him as revenge for his son way back at the start.

The story was somthing about him breaking out of prison and declaring war on the duke.

I think he gets to live because clamie said "He fits well into my plans" so I think you are right about the redeemed human who makes peace being the story.

Friday is fine with me. This week has been crazy busy at work, so I am way behind on everything and would not be able to play anyway.

Ouch. Playing this on daytime was harsh on our troops. Eclipse (the dread bat) took a knight lance which did 25! damage. It didn't last long after that =( Looks like the bats did not end up surviving the entire campaign after all.

I've been gradually pulling back the middle forces (6 pillagers/cutthroats and Reed) against Green. Fighting during daytime was just too harsh. I sent orange down to back them up.

Bottom with Shining is ok. He seems to want to assassinate the Archduke using woodsmen... But we've got a cutthroat, a Direwolf Rider and a Pillager there helping out against HIs.

Top is going well. Both Kennison and the Troll are heavily damaged, but one is a troll. Kennison is healing up next to a mimic, but that's going to take forever. Clammie is one kill away from levelling up.

Sounds good overall, Amelia. Sorry to hear about our dread bat. But playing during the day is very tough against the lawful human forces.

I have some time so will play very soon (after lunch, feed hunger first, raaaar! ).
