Reading what novice posted in general forum, it does seem like the overwrite bug, so we probably need to start again. And if we are starting again, I wonder -

I would also not be against them being the primary player.
Ryan has withdrawn from the game, and he was the initial player. So in all fairness to Tasunke, we should get a sub to fill in. We seem to be forcing him to play this alone, when he probably (haven't read the lurker thread) started out as a ded-lurker.
About this:
* If we find a sub willing/wishing to play Tebryn of Sheiam, fine
* If not, how hard is it to alter the initial/current save - from Sheiam to (whatever the sub wants to play)? Need to start up from scratch (haha) or can do it on the fly?
* What is Tasunke's feeling about a sub becoming promary player and wanting to switch the civ?
Reason is, I think it is easier for a player to get involved if he can take the reins from the start. It will not be a sub, really, as we haven't started yet. I suspect just filling and continuing someone else's work might hold less interest than having full creative control.
However perhaps Tasunke started following Ryan because of the Civ choice, and would therefore not be happy with a change.
So I propose a Player/Sub - wanted post, saying that we either want a helper to lead Tebryn of Sheaim to victory, or someone who can challenge Hippus, Balseraphs, Sidar and Ljosalfar for world hegenomy with his own special breed.
(He would get last choice, but be compensated by knowing who he will be up against...not leaders, just civs.)
Thoughts? Especially from Tasunke, if you have time to play regularly when the saves start flying that'll work out too.
