Dammit no time for map stitches so just text

-I captured Oh No!, allowing Nonviolence to work its wheat tile for the first time in thousands of years.

-He has units set up to counter attack into the city so I'm staging one tile W of it on the hill. He's free to take back the city, but if he moves his stack into range, then I can just kill it.

-I have units ready to take Disaster(the northern city) next turn with a morale GG

EDIT: I misclicked the stack into the city smoke smoke smoke

This is why you don't play civ exhausted. Whatever, the unit exchange will be about 1:1 unless he has some HA in the fog and I should be able to cement my control over the region if I win this battle.

Did you have Stack Attack on?? Wait, that reminds me - I have it on for simming. Thanks for the unintentional reminder before I play my next turn, lol ...

Plans?

1) Build enough military that I can flip into caste/bureaucracy
2) Grow Rason to size 10
3) Work 2 crabs, Rice and FP and 6 merchants for GM in 8 turns
4) Trigger GA and continue set-up in Rason for a 7 turn GM
5) Go to Wetbandit's capital and get a lot of gold
6) Go Civil Service->Machinery->Guilds->Engineering
7) Expand into iceball landmass(room for 2 cities there)
8) Flip back into slavery/vassalage and whip away all the pop I gained from my time in caste system
9) Hope to have enough units to fight off the technologically superior forces that my rivals will have
10) Fail spectacularly
11) Blame the mapmaker
12) Profit?

I don't plan to attack Suttree, there's no way I can realistically hold any land I keep and I'm not throwing my game for vengeance's sake. I didn't take Suttree's cities for revenge(though that felt pretty good), I did it because I knew I could hold them and they would be good for my own civ.

Game mechanics trick: you have 6 triremes with 2xp and one galley with 0 xp. You want all 7 units to get 1 promo from a GG, how do you insure XP is distributed correctly?

Solution:

Ok, so the clock is winding down. The wanton LOLSuttrians threaten to take back North Korea's recent gains and then some. How has our glorious leaders prepared?

The Naval Front

8 triremes, plus the one completing in Songrim, and 4 galleys, one which can take morale. Those two stacks of Suttree are isolated, so I hope to draw them in and the annhilate them with my superior numbers and units. Long term, I hope to establish naval supremacy and reestablish the marble-crab city I razed off of Suttree. I'm not planning to invade his territory as that would just instigate a naval arm race a la PBEM49 which would cripple both of us. The triremes and galleys are named after the British ships in the Battle of Trafalgar for good luck.

The Land Front

That's a lot of units. Unfortunately, still a bit lacking in cats after I depleted them all destroying Suttree's stack, but I'll still have 12 which should be pretty good for defensive purposes. The HA and cat stack 1NW of Sinpo is my attempt at subterfuge, if Suttree moves in without taking into account possible hidden units, he could be in for a nasty surprise. The two LB on the hill N-NW of Sinpo are serving as zone defense in case Suttree tries for a mounted attack on Chongjin. 4 G2 LB, on a hill with walls should hold the city against at least 20 HA.

There's still a chance Suttree won't DOW next turn. Of course, then I'll set up my fleet to attack his stacks and kill them the turn after, so it really is forever war with us.
