Turn 78
Hmm, let's see. General situation: reasonable number of cities, plenty of Workers, decent military. Looks like you've got a solid empire here, with the one major problem being cash flow. You definitely need to get more cottages and Libraries up and running soon. You also need to grow the cities you have so unit costs can be reduced. There's a few city sites - namely two Silver resources - which are worth settling soon for a net positive gain to commerce, but otherwise further expansion should probably wait until you can get into a better commercial situation. Code of Laws would obviously be great for you as Holy Rome, but obviously that's still a little while down the road.
Anyway, to the turn. Settler produced in Independiente sent 1N; next turns I presume you'll want it to head 2NE-1NE and found at the Deer-Spice-Silver dot. Provisionally started a Library next in Independiente.
Workers mostly moved to improve resources or prechop forests. Don't want to actually finish any chops until Maths is in of course. Realized one Worker on the Sheep is potentially vulnerable to a WilliamLP mounted unit next turn, so rearranged some units so you can cover both Workers near Boca Juniors with Spears next turn if you want.
Demographics. Middle of the road in food and MFG, but lagging in GNP as mentioned earlier.

Thanks! I am not sure when my issue will be sorted out and its not fair to expect you to play all the turns. Hopefully I can track Ichabod down sooner rather than later...

I'm afraid to report there was a bit of an uprising this turn, and you now preside over the Holy Ramen empire. All of your unnamed units have rebelled and adopted their own titles. Your Workers appear to have named themselves after various cheap meals, while your military units seem to be a variety of juices.

Founded the new Deer-Silver city (Vodka). Sending Workers to the Silver ASAP, since that'll provide a much needed boost to our happy cap.
Whipped the Library in the capital. Do you have an idea for when and where you want to hire scientists to get yourself a Great Scientist?
Can't finish Maths this turn, so doing a turn of 0% research followed by 100% next turn. Holding off chops an extra turn as a result, mostly prebuilding cottages along rivers while we wait.
Demographics. GNP will be much better once we're back to 100% research next turn with the Library in the capital.

I would tend to settle the Sheep city to try and contain LP a bit WilliamLP that is, not you .

Do you mean the Sheep to the south-east? MYKI has had a Spear hanging around that area for the past couple of turns, for what it's worth. Do you want to go ahead and press down regardless? If so, do you want to use the Settler underway in Gargle Blaster which I was tentatively marking for the northern Silver, or do you want to produce another Settler somewhere - perhaps Independiente? Bear in mind that you already have a decent amount of land available, and are a bit strapped for cash at the moment.

Let's build one last Settler for that area and get an Axe/Spear pair ready to defend it. I think the other Settler for northern Silver makes a lot of sense given where it was being built. I vaguely recall being positive cash at 40% research? I am willing to let that go down to 20% because I'm not very bright.
Should I start a thread asking for someone to takeover for me? At this point I am not sure how long the situation will last and you might end up playing all the turns.

Sounds about right. Okay, will do that then.

But seriously, it shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as we build plenty of river cottages to compensate. You have 10 Workers already, which is pretty good for this point in the game.

May as well start a thread if you think it'll be permanent. I'm not playing many turns at the moment though, so I don't mind covering you for a while if necessary.
I remember you mentioning you had this problem earlier, but you managed to play again until recently. Did you do anything differently to solve the issue earlier when you last encountered it - switching computers, changing locations, switching internet providers, ...? Or was it just completely random?
