Deadline, please don't post, save giving me a tally (pretty please).

Interesting Day 1. Still working out whats going on (entrenched rivalries and whatnot) but enjoying it. Hope to ramp up the contributions into Day 2.
I am Jack's Complete Lack of Surprise
The dawn saw several individuals step warily into the town square. Incriminations soon followed:
"You're a mercenary in the employ of Commandant Macho Fuerte, or whatever!" "I've never seen you in the village for all two days I've lived here!" "I have awesome powers, and all I need... is to survive". With that utterance, a hush came over the assorted rabble. All eyes turned toward a burly, spectacled man with an impressive moustache, wearing a dress shirt and tie. "I'm working on the scoop of the century, you see." he explained, eyes shifting rapidly back-and-forth. "He's a spy!" cried one person. "A traitor!" screamed another. "A post-industrial saboteur!". At the end of the day the man was led to a hastily-erected gallows and executed, protesting all the way. After his body dropped, the executioner turned out his pockets- only for a small card to fall out, which read "PRESS". Goreripper was lynched. He was a War Correspondent. He belonged to no faction.
Night 1 begins now
(well, technically 25 minutes ago- sorry!) GM note- there's a good chance I won't be able to adjudicate N1 at the deadline tomorrow (I'm great at this!)- I'll be sure to provide the necessary documentation in the lurker thread for someone to step in should the need arise; failing that, just sit tight until I'm around, and Day 2 will be extended to make up for my absence. |
