Aye, we have. Ladder MP is a very different game, the slow pace really changes things.
Although if Eric doesn't move his northern settler (or bring in coverage from up north) (clearly, that settler's going for copper), he's going to be out a settler, and Plako's going to have a free worker.
And IMO "Natural Disasters" should be an exception to the "no pause" rule, should LP need it.

For transparency's sake, I sent this to WarlordDr and Metallian:
Quote:These Pitboss games are in some ways the biggest events we have here in this community.
And so far I have seen very little from WarlordDr that shows any degree of respect for what this community is about: nothing but sheer arrogance and disrespect of the conventions of these games.
My inclination is to send WarlordDr on his merry way back to where he came from. Why shouldn't I?
And yes, natural disasters are an exception.

Not to play the devil's advocate here, but as far as I know, all Warlord has done is not post a spoiler thread, which TBH isn't that huge of a deal, as numerous people stop updating after the first 50 turns, update very little, or post 2 liners. The only other thing he's done is use offensive language to another player. He's from a different world. Not a good excuse, but imo it can and should be overlooked for a first time pitboss player.
And then he misses some turns, and we have no idea if he was any problems in real life. After a message sent like that, I would think something like "screw this, I'm out of this ****hole".
Unless that was the point...

Echoing Cull here. If WarlordDR queued his turns like Regorarr reported he said he did, the worst he did was slow the game down by not ending his turn.
Also Cull, are you still playing in that FFH2 PBEM? :neenernee

I agree with Cull here as well. As I've said before, I'm sure he will pay for his tone in-game by becoming isolated diplomatically. What exactly has he done that warrants such a harsh PM?

First of all, I didn't see the post in sunrise's thread.
Why should I have to read sunrise's thread to figure out what is going on with WarlordDr? As far as I knew, he was still in the wind.
And second of all, has Rego met WarlordDr in game? If not, that comment by WarlordDr contains all kinds of information that he isn't yet able to transmit to Rego/sunrise.

Quite amusing too. A beautiful ploy to add posts as well, adding in an imaginary warlord thread.

You know, that is what I thought when I first read it, but my brain isn't exactly at peak function. I was up until very late keeping our dying pet company, and now here I am early morning in a parking garage after a two hour drive to LA.
So the general feeling is that we should just roll with the status quo?
