It seems to me that a compromise is possible, LP. Obviously you want to keep the game moving quickly while others want the valuable information contained in score adjustments. Since you're already checking the game frequently and posting updates to this thread, perhaps you could include the current scores each time. It shouldn't involve much extra time, and you may even notice something important to you.
You benefit, nobody has a reason to delay due to a lack of civstats.
Others benefit, they can more easily collect the information they desire without causong a general inconvenience.

I personally appreciate what LP is doing and hope he continues with or without scores. It might be good idea, if more people would do the same.
