[SPOILERS] Dazed and scooter play Stalin of Vikings and make a big mess

While I was typing that last bit I realized I forgot to check something. So I logged back in - Buddhism fell at end of last turn. Not sure who yet - I'll have to check how scores compare. I may not be able to figure it out for sure.

Spamming it up here, sorry.

Anyways, I did some checking here. IIRC Meditation (or rather, all ancient techs) would mean 6 points, so that's what we're looking for here. There were a bunch of score increases, but the only ones above 3 were:

Krill - 6 points
Ceilizaul - 8 points (tech + pop probably)

Here's the weird thing. Krill's points were processed before the "new turn has begun" message, Ceil's were processed afterwards. Well, they all have the same timestamp, but still. I'm thinking this means nothing though? So either way, yeah, I think there's no way to tell which of them got it. Krill tends to grab early religions almost as much as he grabs Stonehenge, and Ceil has a bunch of Plako-vacated land, so both of them make sense for a Buddhism landing spot. Not sure which is more likely.

Stable. Workers:

Continued roading. Sunk 1/3 of a chop with the worker from the now-roaded floodplains and then cancelled action. And, um..

Help? He's not screwing around.

Right about now is when I'm wishing I'd saved the promo for Woodsman instead of Shock.

Question for the lurkers. Once you've defogged a tile, if its forest gets chopped, it DOES disappear right? Like:

We can be certain that all forests we see here do in fact exist, correct?

We're just having a mess of a time figuring out what in the world Brick is doing. If he's attacking us, it explains a lot, but those power bumps appear to be consistent with pop, techs, and warriors. So... warrior rush? When we have a sentry? So confused.

To be clear - the weirdest part here is that he has a pile of forests, got BW early, is IMP, and despite all that is NOT in slavery, does NOT have his 3rd city yet (still - checked this turn too), and does NOT appear to be chopping his forests, but DOES appear to be building units. If he's not chopping forests, it would seem to confirm that he's slow-building warriors which would fit perfectly with around when they're showing up too. I don't know. Stumped here.

Yeah, you can see when forests come or go even in the fog. Same with FPs (if you settle on them) and jungles.

Turn 53 is pretty par for the course... On quick speed.

IIRC a third ring forest is 16 hammers on normal pre math if it's in your culture.
I have to run.

So.... wanna skip Oracle and build 1-2 axes?

Well the good news about that picture is he has indeed been spamming warriors.

My gut answer to your question is... no... but that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't the right call. Need to think. Though with his copper being the complete opposite direction, he probably will just have warriors for awhile. Either way, that city doesn't fly for me (in fairness he may have no clue we're boxed in land-wise). Do we have enough money to upgrade that warrior by any chance?? It being a shock axe would mean bye-bye city.
