In theory it should work, but I'm not 100% sure. I mean, once dead, the Undead trait definitely disappears, but I'm not sure if undead units die normally or irrecoverably.

Already found some bugs in the new intercontinental attack :

-When an AI intercontinental stack containing a hero looks for targets, it requires to be twice as powerful as the target to attack it, similarly to the land attac procedure to ensure heroes are not participating in overly risky battles.
-Nodes are no longer allowed at theY=2 map row - it makes them attach to the North Pole area, potentially creating non-tundra tiles on the pole and giving it the region a continent ID.
Note that the windwalkers are untested, so please pay extra attention to windwalking stacks attacking land targets from the sea.

Yeah it was cracks call, I had no idea you couldn't heal that (or Wave of Despair). I thought it used to work with Cracks Call didn't it? Does Exaltation work?

Bug - Water elementals don't gain +3 ranged with focus magic.
edit: it appears to be caused by ranged 'type', changing to 'nature shimmer' for example allows the +3 ranged.
*So the bug appears to be associated with 'Focus Magic' not covering 'nature ice bolt' ranged type.

The spell can't tell apart a creature that had that attack type from those that were granted it by the spell itself through transforming something else.
The only way to fix this is to look at the base attack type instead of the current...

...I think I "fixed" that originally by making sure nothing has this attack type without Focus Magic. That certainly worked except Water Elements should have this attack type...

Meanwhile fixed Focus Magic, not uploaded yet.
Started my next random game...
4 Chaos, 4 Sorcery, Warlord, Tactician, Famous.
So close to what I used to beat Lunatic last time except...race is High Men. So weak early game realms with weak early race and...good retorts that don't work with my realms.
So nothing in the early game whatsoever except Nagas.
...on huge, rich land. This will be a difficult game. And while I should have a good late game, I wont' because low books and useless retorts against twice the usual size of map. Warlord Famous Tactician would be amazing with anything else but for this it might be the worst.

nah, warlord/tactician means you can rely on city troops early game (if you can get a good neutral, which is best chance on huge). Then transition into sorcery at uncommon and chaos at rare.
