I'm pretty sure I know where his city is and I marked it in the screenshot. You can see some new border from RFS, which signals where his city is placed. I would rather not go near him mainly because I don't want him to know that I know. Also I don't want my only defender for Wind Raptor to be far off. Exdeath could defend itself easily right now, but Wind Raptor can not.

Yeah, I was really just saying we should annoy him with our warrior, tit for tat and all that.
All the other people are working on settlers/warriors now. At least that's my assumption from the demos.
And RFS finally got city 2.

T39:
War Wilhelm found more marble near us. Not something that I was looking for right now. My exploration route tells me to move to the marble, but I hesitate. I must say I found a new respect for the animals in this game.
On the positive side a forest has grown near Exdeath and in a position where it doesn't interfere with my micro plan. As you can see I also revolted into slavery this turn. And I checked and Coeurva and RFS don't have contact.

Here as promised my micro plan "Grow Wind Raptor" (I changed "Delay Revolt" a bit):
T40: Chocobo cops spice forest, Sylph farms the sugar, Remora chops the forest 1N of pig, Exdeath works a warrior and Pig, Crab and Sugar, Wind Raptor works a barracks and the corn
T41: Wind Raptor adds marble
T42: Pottery is finished starting Archery, Chocobo chops into Wind Raptor, Remora chops into granary at Exdeath, Exdeath works a granary and Pig, Crab, Copper, Rivermine, Wind Raptor works Corn, Sugar
T43: Chocobo mines the spice, Sylph finishs the farm, Remora helps with farming sugar, Exdeath finishs Granary and continues warrior, Wind Raptor finished barracks and starts Granary
T44: Sylph road the sugar, Remora moves to the forest 1E of spice, Exdeath finishs warrior and starts settler
T45: Archery finishs start Mysticism, Sylph finishs road, Remora starts chopping, Wind Raptor adds marble
T46: Chocobo finishs mine, Sylph moves to marble, Wind Raptor swaps marble for spice
T47: Chocobo moves to marble, Sylph mines marble, Remora chops into Wind Raptor, Exdeath double whips settler now working Pig, Copper
T48: Science slider to 0%, Chocobo mines the marble, Remora moves to 1NE of Exdeath, Exdeath finishs settler starts work boat and works Pig, Corn, Wind Raptor finishs Granary starts work boat and works sugar, spice, marble
T49: Science slider back to 100%, Chocobo finishs mine, Sylph and Remora start road 1NE of river mine,
T50: Mysticism finishs start Meditation, Sylph finishs road, Chocobo moves to Exdeath, Remora finishs road, Exdeath works Pig, Crab, Copper, Wind Raptor works Corn, Sugar, Spice
T51: Chocobo and Remora start road towards 3rd city, Sylph connects copper, Exdeath produces something, Wind Raptor adds marble and finishs Work boat next turn.
Some notes about that plan. Exdeath will produce military and start the 4th settler in the next turns, same for Wind Raptor but instead of a settler a worker. I haven't planned this exactly. As you can see I also try to get a religion. I'm not fixated on getting the religion, but if nobody else founds one till T45 I might try my luck. After all we are only six.

Religion is a decent choice for the happiness benefit—but is there anything we need immediately? Animal husbandry gives us camps, writing gives us libraries and leads to math.
I don’t necessarily disagree with religion but we do need to make sure we get priesthood so we can build a temple for the earlyish great prophet.

With 3 coastal cities and a good offshore spot, sailing is another strong choice.

Like I said I'm not fixated on religion. I just put it in to see if it can be done in a reasonable time. I could start Animal Husbandry after the religion techs and if it's Meditation I would get Animal Husbandry more or less on time to camp the ivory. If it's not the religion I will definitly go for AH as I will need the Happiness that ivory provides. Sailing will definitly be research soon after AH, but I would like to settle the gold first, before somebody else takes it, after all it's exactly in the middle between Coeurva, RFS and me.

T40:
Shock. At first looking at civstats I thought that Superdeath already settled his 3rd city, but looking at the land area in the demos revealed that this was not the case. It was just civstats posting the score increase and turn end in a strange order. Nonetheless the barbarians are will be a problem as soon as everybody settles their 3rd city. That's why I moved War Walpole to a position a bit north of Wind Raptor, where he can fog bust and still reach Wind Raptor in 2 turns if need be. You will see it on the next screenshots.
About fog busting. So far there are only 4 directions I see barbs coming from:
- West of Wind Raptor: This should be fairly save and only thanks to RFS' city being there.
- North of Wind Raptor: I won't settle my 3rd and 4th city in that direction so I will have to position a fog buster there.
- North of Exdeath: Currently War Wilhelm also fog busts this region a bit while he is exploring. Other then that I will have to be careful here. But in case of an emergency Exdeath can reply fast with all of it's production
- East: My 3rd city will go here. After that I will need some fogbusters around that city.
For this turn I only did graphs, because War Wilhelm also did not discover anything interesting.
Coeurva's potential double move was also not directed against us or RFS. He still does not have contact to RFS and I did not see any units from him. But I wanted to show you graphs:
We are lacking a bit in GNP, but this might be ok at this early time. I'm still wondering what that spike from RFS is, both the first upward and the downward one.
Production was ok the last turns, after all we used it to produce a worker and settler. I guess that RFS and Coeurva spike in prod is due to worker production, because both are EXP leader.
As you can see food has gone back to good levels. RFS dropped a lot in food over the last turns, which is due to the double-whip and his second city being found late with no immediately improved resources.
We are still lacking in power, which concerns me, not because I fear to be rushed right now, but because of the barbarians. I also think that RFS only has 2 warriors instead of 3. I think that the first rise in power was him discovering Mining, which he needed for Bronze Working, but I could be wrong about that.

(July 11th, 2018, 14:44)Charriu Wrote: Short: I want to develop a plan for the next turns until the 3rd settler is finished. It will propably evolved developing the 2nd city, mining the copper, adding the sea food. In addition I will need to explore the east and north ASAP and learn who my other neighbors are.
Medium: As of now I'm not especially afraid of RFS. We are seperated by a desert in the north west and our only connection is via the coastline. I'm still willing to risk an attack on him, but that will depend on our other neighbors.
Long: I don't have enough informations as of now to deceide anything long term, propably going to conquer RFS.
It's 20 turns later. Time to think about my SML goals again. Just for comparison I quoted my last goals. So let's have a look at those:
Short: I achieved every goal except for the exploration part, which failed mainly to bad dice luck (loosing the warrior and scout). But at least I managed to start the exploration again in the last turns. The fact that nobody visited me from the east is also a good sign as far as I think.
Medium: Well I seemed more afraid of RFS then I should have been in the last turns. Nonetheless we have now a more or less established border on the coast line. With him settling so late an attack is still tempting, but knowledge about our potential eastern neighbor is more important.
So here are my updated goals:
Short:- Prepare for the barbarians. Produce archers and some fog busters.
- Settle 3rd city in the east (cow) and 4th city near the ivory (happiness)
- Explore and find any potential eastern neighbors
Medium: - Settle that gold spot in the NW. This may be our 5th or 6th city.
- Explore that southern island city. This city provides another happiness in whales. This will propably also be our Moai city.
Long:- Expand further north-east and/or east
- Prepare and conquer at least that awesome city spot from RFS

Superdeath's at 3 cities. First to 3, I think. I think that was also a bad choice because how can he have enough workers for 3 cities?
And don't worry about GNP; that'll go up next graph
Short term goals of adding 4 cities and happiness are really good. If we can do that while founding a religion -- then heading for sailing -- I think that's also good.
