What's the correct way to update to the newest patch (5.75) without losing savegames, etc? Simply drag and drop all the files in the patch to the correct folder?

Yes, but skip the save*.gam files (these are the saves) and skip magic.set (this is where the game stores the names of your save slots).
However if updating from a much older version, the save files might not be compatible. Check the changelog.

hey so i tried to get to the website to download the mod, and it gives me a error that says"Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress."

im not sure if it is just me or what but any help would be appreciated

I see the same error.
According to x10, "We are currently performing migrations and maintenance on our backend systems, logging into the system may periodically be impacted. Please read https://x10hosting.com/community/threads...in.206877/ for more information." so it seems they changed something with their PHP configuration.
I tried changing the PHP versions but I don't see an effect yet.
I assume they're still migrating and it doesn't work yet.

So, on that same island, I had an instance of a warband of Raider Klackons, but the only Klackons settlements that were there were Mage alligned, which I squished soon after. And then, this showed up. Game is not broken or anything but... yeah I'm not sure how they plan on raiding somebody with that. Least Raiders are now building neutral towns?

Okay so the site is back up but when i click downloads i get error 403 Forbidden You don't have permission to access this resource.

Neutral settlers usually happen if a neutral ghoul or zombie attacks a settler that belongs to another player.
I checked permissions and they are correctly set, but I still can't access the download folders. I asked on their forum, we'll have to wait for a response.
