Caster of Magic Release thread : latest version 6.06!

I got the Holy Weapon CTD again. It happens in the late game when I already have tons of enchantments on my heroes, and I cast Holy Weapon on a hero. It could also be a conflict with the global spell Holy Arms. Hope that helps.

I really like the changes you've made to the game. The Amplifier building is awesome!

One possible idea, the crash might be caused by unit rating overflow? I don't think that's possible anymore but maybe? Although in that case the crash would be consistently reproducible. Did you cast it during combat or overland? Did it crash immediately?

I'm casting Holy Weapon overland. It crashes the instant I click on the spell in my spell book. I just went back to the saved game and tried it in a combat--it worked fine there. I've played about 5 games of Caster of Magic and run into the problem in two games. Once it happens, it happens every time--you can't cast Holy Weapon anymore.

I fiddled around and reinstalled my game, managing to totally screw it up somehow in the process. But I noticed that there is in one version of the game a notice that pops up when you try to cast Holy Weapon when Holy Arms is active that tells the player that the effects do not stack. That pop-up is missing in 5.75 as best I can tell. Maybe it's calling for the pop-up and crashing because it isn't there?

I also noticed that "plane shift" on shadow demons doesn't work. Is it intended, or not?
If it is intended, I think the "property" on the unit screen should be removed.

There are additional requirements to use it. Right click the ability and read the description.

Thanks! Requirements are, either:
1) Opened one tower, or
2) Discovered plane shift spell

I think it makes a ton of sense this way!! Love the change.

Why i cannot build a doom drake? I have every building what i need to have, it is bug or new feature?

I see no Armorer's Guild. I assume the highest tier buildings are not available yet, they only appear in 1406. The building description clearly says so but unfortunately there is no way to see that before you can actually build one.

Yea, the 1406 is year in the game.  It took me about 30 min to find out rolleye
