I think it's 8 in the trailing stack, definitely 2 in the lead stack. I took a screenshot trying to show the trailing stack, but the mouseover didn't show up in the screenie, and I don't have the save file on this computer to generate another screenshot.
Does anyone know a secret to getting mouseover text to appear reliably in screenshots? It seems like a coin flip to me.

Hey guys,
If DaveV is going to be the turnplayer for a while yet, do you want to ask the moderators to put his name into the thread title - make it something like "Bobchillingworth & DaveV / Calabim"? This will remind the other players, and definitely help out us lurkers reading these threads.
Good luck in the war! Would be really nice if you guys could post detailed screenshots, as it would be cool to see your tactics, thanks.
P.S. Oh, and regarding the screenshots - did you select one of the units in the stack, or just mouse-overed the stack without selecting any of them? The former may be more reliable, perhaps.

Maksim,
Last I heard, Bob will take over again if he can play the game on his laptop. If not, I have the helm .

Since I've been a lurker until now and have a lot of sympathy for the kibitzers, I'll try to document things as well as I can. But, I can also sympathize with the turnplayers' complaints about limited time, so it won't be anywhere near the standards of Spullla's thread.

In my experience with big complex unit overview screenshots, mouse over info appears 100% of the time. Do you get any screenshot at all?

Yes, I get the entire screenshot without the mouseover text. Just for a sanity check, here's what I'm doing:
1) In game, press <shift> Prnt Scrn button while mouseover text is displayed.
2) Screenshot title popup appears, mouseover text disappears.
3) I enter a title and the file is created.
4) Upon later inspection, the mouseover text is sometimes there and sometimes not (about 50-50 in my experience so far).

That's your culprit. Holding shift changes the mouseover into "unit goto" mode (or something like that). It's about 50-50 whether that kicks in before Civ snaps the screenshot or after.

Argggh! I'm sure sometime in the distant past, I had to hold down shift for that key to function, and now it's a habit.
Thanks for the clarification; it will save me a lot of aggravation.

Does the Shift enable the title thing? Because I just press Print Screen, and I don't get the title popup.

Screenshot of the day:
I really should have moved another bloodpet or two with the lead stack. If Iskender attacks out of his city, he can probably kill the two workers (although it would be costly for him, with Pork at +165% strength and Hare at +45%.
If Iskender has been wondering about my intentions, I guess they're really obvious now. Next turn is the war declaration, if he doesn't declare this turn.
