What's the ETA on the new cities from Sareln? And how is Ravus going to bring Ritualists to bear in a few turns when he hasn't even converted to AV?
And yes, AC went up by 2 again. I realized we forgot to account for AV spreads in how quickly the AC can rise, so...

Barb kill stack in the north. I guess there's a city in that fogged corner over there too. That's annoying.
I think we should do a granary in CoJ next, it'll help us grow onto more mines faster and will likely be useful for Blight. And yeah, Blight is going to be a problem...

Yeah speaking of the AC, it's possible that Ravus might stop just before Blight when he sees people starving their cities. If we can come up with some way to force the AC over the threshold in that case, that would be good...but I can't think of anything short of researching AV ourselves.

Is this the best timing ever for a normally insignificant event? Methinks so.
That's 4 barb warriors followed by one warrior and one goblin. We have 3 warriors in the city, that are now mostly healed. We might lose a warrior (city is on desert) but we'll live.
AC is now at 32, so Blight will hit at EOT. As hinted earlier, we starved our cities down a bit such that there should be no food loss after Blight hits, and we'll slowly regrow as the unhealth bleeds off, assuming Mist's calculations are correct. Unfortunately the first Horseman is going to hit before the Gate finishes, so let's hope it either a) doesn't spawn near us, or b) Yellow can actually do something with his horsemen other than parade them around. And Ravus summoning Krill is also a potential threat.

Blight hits...we seem to have miscalculated. I think Mist thought that buildings that provide health via resources (granaries or smokehouses) would reduce the Blight unhealth amount, but only buildings that provide health by themselves (aqueducts) do that. So we're going to lose a few pop in some cities but it's not catastrophic.
I also forgot about Blight unit damage, but miraculously our three warriors pictured above survived both the barbarian attack and the Blight damage. We have three severely damaged warriors against a warrior and a goblin now. They may wait one turn to attack though, in which case we'll be perfectly fine. If not then we'll probably lose a warrior.
We also seem to have lost some gold somewhere...

Seriously? Yellow ran away his horseman when the new city from Sareln is being attacked by 4 warriors, and is defended by one of ours?

Got no idea what you're talking about. Any chance of a picture (or ten)?

That city is founded by Sareln's settler that we purchased. And escorted by Yellow's horseman. Which has now promptly run away.
What else is there to say?
