WW8: Madness in Outer Space (game thread - players only)

I really do want people on the chopping block to have a chance to show off their power or make a final case before the last vote falls on them. I know that I'd want to opportunity to use mine, which isn't impressive or a game-changer, but could still help the village (obviously it's a day power).

novice, what motive would Lewwyn (as scum) have for killing Bob this way? It seemed fairly obvious that either me or Bob would hang today, he had no need to force anything. It can be a really amazing double psychology ploy, but I'm more inclined to think it's just bad villager play. Unless you believe I'm scum along with Lewwyn, in which case it's really bad scum play.

I could forgive Serdoa his lynch but this one cries for lynching you tomorrow.
If you are a villager I don't understand the hurry in it and if you are SCUM I understand it even less.

The only reason I can think of for Lewwyn switching as scum (unless I'm scum, which I'm not) would be because the scum have decided that Bob is vastly more dangerous to them than I am. While I acknowledge that everybody thinks I suck, I don't think they'd go to those extremes I seriously don't think Lewwyn is guilty. Would be nice if he'd chime in, though.

It didn't go to 4-4 until after I was asleep in bed. I didn't cast a vote for Catwalk because he had adequately acquitted himself for the time being in my eyes. I don't want to leave a vote hanging out there in the middle of the night with me as unsure as I was. Make sense?

To be fair, I'm surprised Bob didn't use his power at the end of day 1. He had nothing to lose by establishing his innocence, especially since it'd happen after night time and he wouldn't automatically be targetted by the scum. He'd probably only gain minor credibility by using his power on the lynch block, it sounds rather scummy if all we'd be told was that he passes out.

I don't understand why Lewwyn was in such a hurry. Still, I'm not sure if it makes him suspicious or not. As scum, the only reason he'd be in a hurry would be to save me. Even so it'd be a weak play, and doesn't match up with him spending most of the day almost getting me lynched. Even though it doesn't feel right, I think I have to move Lewwyn closer to my innocent camp based on his mislynch.

I think in all WW-games I never ever read a post which screamed more then this "SCUM, SCUM, SCUM". Yes, the only reason to wait a whopping 6 minutes after posting

Um... You know I think it is very possible that SCUM would attempt to balance the vote between two villagers so as to force a villager to pull the final lynching. What do you think about that?

is that he wanted to save a fellow scum and is certain that he can deflect suspicion by hinting at me. I mean, Lewwyn thinks it is very possible that scum would get two villagers on the block and 6 minutes after having that thought, he votes for one of them? Really?

And catwalk - saved, but by some ridiculous play - moves Lewwyn for that into his innocent camp? Again, really?

I think the only hard time I will have tomorrow is to decide if I vote for Lewwyn or for catwalk...
