My name is Robert Howell Smotherford. I am from the only city younger than Blasted Heath, K'n-yan.

It is a blue-litten city that sits upon the dessert hills north and east of the Upper Miskatonic Valley. The dark basalt temples of more ancient and terrible beings dot the near desert floor. For all that it is my old home and I remember it fondly still.

My city is the eighth founded in the realms of Arkham, bringing the numbers of cities under Arkham's domains to equal or surpass those of other nations in the world.

The Miskatonic Maddrassa System expanded greatly in my youth; on the outer edges of the realms maddrassas were built, spreading our culture all over the east.

It was to the southeast we should have watched.

Nope! Still a very peaceful game. But Scooter the Mi-Go is out...

NYARLATHOTEP LEWWYN HAS COME.

I don't know how this will turn out. We're oddly in sixth place looking at fifth now; Pindicator is checked out and Serdoa is...something. Lewwyn is better at micro but not massively so more than Scooter, but he's much more unpredictable. These demos look tasty to you?

We shall indeed see.

Hopefully once you crack calender your demos will be looking real nice.

If you survive to Calender...

...maybe. The happy will certainly be a plus, what with 5/8 cities at the happy cap soon. But notice something missing for growth?

Hint: It starts with "h" and rhymes "ealthresources".

Also, you know, tiles to work...

Whelp, there's only one option left

Summon the old ones. Which one do you worship? The venerable Com'h'dor? I'm a fan of Yog-Sothoth myself

Maybe you shouldn't look too far past those peak tiles. Never know what it could do to your head...

I would invoke Bel-Shamharoth for which you caped at size8 cities are quite perfect wink

I think you mean 2^3 size capped cities. Or more accurately the twice four-sized?

Only one small issue there; save for in the capital the max happy cap is actually only seven. Which is still pretty strong; Kingsport here for example is making 18hpt. It's going to crack 20hpt soon, all going into making a decent horse archer stack for right now.

Dunwich and Kadath actually have a worse cap, size five in each case due to the heavy early whipping.

...let's hook sheep and make all eight, seven.
