RB Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Iamjohn, Kodii & Zeviz

Turn 93 (550 BC): Barb Warrior attacks Francisco Pizarro and dies. Francisco Pizarro is now at 8 XP. I just need 2 more Warriors to kill (well, and Literature) to open up the Heroic Epic.

The chopped Terrace finishes in Cuzco, and I start a Barracks there. I triple-whip a Settler in DINA. However, I then switch production back to the Chariot. This means the city will grow at the end of this turn, so it will only spend 1 turn at size 3, instead of two (one to finish the Settler and one to grow). Also, it means the Chariot will finish before the Settler, which is good because I am probably going to need the Chariot to clear out the barbarian city, and then resettle one tile to the west. So I'll need the Chariot before the Settler anyway.

There are 3 Workers around Cuzco and Celebi. Cuzco will expand its borders on turn 88. I come up with a plan to finish a Farm which can be shared between the two cities, as well as finish Cuzco's rice farm on turn 89 (I can't start work on it till the borders expand on turn 88) without wasting any worker turns.

I upgraded the non-sentry chariot to Shock and moved towards the Barb city to attack on turn 95.

It looks like Whosit is probably building a lot of Praetorians:

I hope he doesn't send them towards me! If he does I'll put up as much of a fight as I can, but since he'll probably have Combat 1 and Shock on all of them, I'll need around twice as many Axemen as he has Praetorians to fend him off.

Turn 94 (525 BC): Chariot finished in DINA, now the Settler that was whipped last turn will complete. Axe finished in Fetret Devri, start another Axe. I move the sentry Chariot to scout around where Mortius's capital was, but I move it onto a forest and there ends up being a barb Axe next to that tile. So it will probably kill the chariot next turn frown.

Any diplomatic chatter with the other teams?

Cyneheard: Nope, no diplomatic chatter. Whosit asked for open borders a while back and I accepted.

Turn 95 (500 BC): Nakor asks for open borders and I agree. The barbarian Axe kills my sentry Chariot frown

Settler finished in DINA, start Chariot. Attack barb city with C1/Shock Axe, and win. Two Axes left, and move chariot back into my territory for healing. The chariot is at 8 XP, so I will probably be able to get it to 10 XP. Switch Fetret Devri to Settler (I will whip it next turn).

Turn 96 (475 BC): The barb Axe which killed my chariot moves out of the fog and is at 4.6/5 health, and has promoted to Combat 1. I move an Axe onto the forest next to it. Francisco Pizarro (my medic/shock Quechua) moves onto the same tile as my wounded Chariot to speed up its healing. It will now heal in 2 turns, instead of 3.

I finish a chop at Anatolia, and the Library will now finish this turn. I triple-whip the Settler in Fetret Devri as planned.

You really seem to have a lot of barb issues going on there. Not what you need! Any units building a solid XP total?

Since Mortius got eliminated very early, there is a whole lot of territory for the barbs to spawn in, so I thank that's why I'm seeing a lot of them. I have a Combat 1/Shock Chariot at 8XP, so I'll probably be able to kill an Axe or two with it and get it to 10XP.

Turn 97 (450 BC): Stonehenge has been built in a far away land. The barb Axe which killed my chariot attacks my Axe on the forest and dies.

Four out of my five cities finished a build this turn. Fetret Devri finished a (whipped) settler, and continues to work on an Axe. DINA finished a chariot, and started a Library. Anatolia finished a Library and started a Barracks. Celebi finished an Axe and started another one.

Now that the Library is finished I turn research up to 100%. Code of laws is now due in 8 turns, although I may have to turn down research before it finishes (depending on how much gold I get from the barb city, how much my expenses rise, etc.).

Turn 98 (425 BC): Athlete/Kalin have proven that the world is round. Fetret Devri apparently had a few hammers invested in Stonehenge- I get a 4 gold refund. Cuzco's borders expand, and I have two workers start a farm on the Rice, and a third worker will help them finish it next turn. A Chariot of mine enters Athlete/Kalin's territory and discovers their city of Yavin IV. I think this will give me a foreign trade route next turn, which should help my economy.

Another barb Axe has shown up 1 tile east of the barb city of Phrygia. I think it will probably attack my Axe in the forest, but I move another Axe onto the forest tile 1N of Phrygia so that it can't move there and threaten the workers building the rice farm. My (2) chariots move into position to attack Phrygia, so with decent luck I'll raze it next turn.
