Game goes ok. I played a turn Saturday, but had more pressing reports to get through, and thought I'd get a double turn report out yesterday.
So basically, I've decided to go full-bore militarily. No point beating around the bush here.
My units will be Confessor backed Horse Archers, HAs are taking 4/5 turns out of my production cities and Confessors 3 so I'll be adding to them as I go along.
As regards my current forces, I've killed science to upgrade the horsemen, and will look to produce some acolytes just to burn on culture pops in any captured cities.
Turn 154 is the planned start date, so I will have 15 HAs (a possibly mad) Valin and whatever I rustle up over the next twelve turns in production to rush at Dave, and probably get slaughtered.
As regards diplo we know Nicolae has engaged the enemy at Wolf 359, but he is holding out for now. Gaspar has divulged little to nothing on his plans, but has increased his military massively over the last 20 turns. I believe he has no NAPs so I'll try to jolly him into hitting from the north while I hit from the west. Rawkking is NAPped to turn 161 so will be late to the party.
To help Nicolae I gave him the requested cotton, saw that he had no ale and gave him that too (though probably will have to take it back when I attack).

Bloody annoying the "can't see last post" bug. Until it sorts out I probably won't be updating that well in-game. My dedicated lurker (or any other lurker who can keep schtum) can ask me questions though when I'm on line via google talk. Address is briandmoseanachain at the gmail handle.
Played just now, and not much to report. My Valin went mad and is haring of north for some sweet, sweet goblin meat, or gristly skellington bones (not sure which). If it's goblins he's after then I'll give him cover and maybe even through a HA or 2 at the fort first.
Other than that it's grow, expand, save and recruit.

If ye've been reading the tech thread ye can see that all hell has broken loose. Unfortunately I'm not quite ready to jump in yet. And I may not get to jump in at all.
As regards my own turn, 1) Valin went for the gobbos, I gave him cover pushing his odds over 95%. I also sent my first built HA haring after him, and one of my two pre-stationed warriors to cover him, in case of injury.
2) My palace was rebuilt at NamelessCity (maybe I should go on a renaming drive, but I don't think it'd be appropriate) and got me another 12gpt at 0% science.
3) I popped a great merchant at Muff, was trying for a Prophet but had odds on 3 GP types, he'll be sent East to garner money for the war effort if I can manage it. If not he'll be settled in NamelessCity or Hospital.
4) I began upgrading horsemen this turn. If I get trade money I will upgrade some of my warriors too. Expect a large increase in soldier count in my demos over the next few turns.

Note to the lurkers:
I'm getting really curious about what ye're saying in the lurker thread. I hope to find that it is not all about the best method to darn ye're socks when I check out of the game (probably through a suicide run) and start reading it. Take note.

Hey Brian!
From the looks of the tech thread, I don't see this game going on for much longer. That's really a shame. You got a start that pretty much took all your chances of winning right from the get go but kept playing in a timely fashion and without complaints.
I repeat, if someone should be whining/complaining, it should be you. It's kind of annoying to see all the drama in the tech thread while having lurked your thread. Now that you finally could have some fun with your new land and planned attack, everyone wants to quit...

Yeah it's all getting whiny over in the tech thread. Dave broke a NAP because it was convenient for him to do so and is whining because he got called on it. Gaspar is whining because he didn't win the game, despite a strong start. Oh and the reason why I was losing interest at one stage was simply down to Gaspar not being willing to contemplate a dogpile for a long time in the game. This despite the fact that I laid out my plans for Acalostas and my justification (land, he pissed me off early, I thought I'd manage it better) and also gave a run-down of what I could do, and what I thought the rest could do from my knowledge of the civs, and my (not very in-depth) looking at the demographics.
For a period of about 20 turns I got the impression off Gaspar that he wanted to hold back and allow Kyan/Krill take out the rest of us and then move in himself when the Bals were exhausted. He was not willing to work on a proper plan for a dogpile. Rawkking was perfectly willing (though not that interested in the game), Nicolae I think was too (though I met him very late) if a bit gung-ho (though I don't know the full ins and outs of the situation), but Gaspar really held back on any comments until after my/Krill's joint war over Grigori lands revealed that he actually needed to work with the other teams to beat the Bals. By that time however it was too late.

Turn played. Not much to report.
Valin decided he didn't like the look of the gobbos ("too scrwny") and turned around to go after the olliphaunt occupying the south-west corner of Hospital ("tharrrrr be some meat on dem bones").
I sent my merchant eastways in search of trade opportunities, though he will only get as far as the Hippus before I declare (if I get that long).
Other than that all is peaceful for now.
Expect a big turn 150 report.

Sorry for the lack of updates, not much really has happened the last few turns.
My first HAs and Priests are rolling off the line, and I'm upgrading to beat (pronounced bate) the band, but nothing else is really happening.
However things go badly off east. Gaspar seems to be collapsing like a house of cards and the game may be over before I use my strike force.
I'll do a proper turn 150 update tomorrow or Sunday, with picatures and all, I promise.

Report will have to wait until tomorrow. I've the pics and all, but just too lazy today.
As regards the game I'm pretty much boned, no chance of winning. But we'll see how much I can hurt the Bals before dying.
