It isn't really the text - it is the fact that we aren't that interested in random SP games. A lot of people in this forum have played SP to death and prefer a novel twist in their Civ to keep the interest going.
As someone suggested earlier - report onan RB game with screenshots and a detailed report and I'm sure people will comment with constructive criticism. (Feeling a little hypocrytical for not having posted a report yet... ![lol lol](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif) )
At Civfanatics you would get a load of responses because the community there lap this stuff up - and it is much larger than here.

Yuck, where are the replies?
Okay, I played three turns. Pacal also became my vassal. I am also moving troops after the final city on Saladin's home island, which will likely cause him to capitulate. After that...yeah, I think I'm going to take a backdoor domination victory again. Gunning for conquest on an archipelago map when I haven't won a conquest victory before was definetely biting off more than I could chew.
Civilization IV sure runs like a dream on my new computer.

Ok, here goes. Various people have tried to explain ways to garner interest for your reports. You haven't acted on any of them.
Realms Beyond is a community that intentionally goes above and beyond to make the game more enjoyable. The players here are, in my opinion, more skilled than average players. As a result, they like to hear about real challenges. A regular game on noble doesn't fit this criteria. Hence the various variants making the game harder than normal. They've played the single player regular game to death and have moved on to something more.
Not to mention, you've been advised a few times to include pictures in your articles. A picture paints a thousand words or so they say and yet you've just made vague promises of this happening in the future. No pressure of course, nobody is forcing you to include pics in your report but if you're eager for replies then that would be a good start. (Along with partaking in the RBAdventures etc).
If you can't be bothered to fill in with pictures then i fail to see why others should be bothered to reply.
I hope you take this reply in the way it was intended.

Also there have been some gentle RB adventures in the past, you should be able to play those without too much difficulty. Although I'm not sure if we've had any recently.

I have pictures; they're still not uploaded to Photobucket.
BTW what is the Sirian Doctrine? Is it the art of using ships to bombard defenses followed by landing troops and freely attacking using them?

Basically, yeah, but as I understand it, the Sirian Doctrine's heavily focused on forcing the opponent (AI or human) to guess on where you're attacking by either bombarding multiple targets simultaneously, or having a large enough fleet that you can hit any of multiple cities within range of your fleet. Also, the Sirian Doctrine is "Raze, and leave no units on land". It's designed to allow a tactically superior naval+land force to overcome a numerically and/or power-wise superior land force by choosing your targets wisely.

Always best to go back to the original source: http://sirian.warpcore.org/civ4/games/game-1a.html

So I see...
As of now I am sending a task force of two infantry and six marines to go and raze Tenochtitlan. The bad news is that Monty just got assembly line! Perhaps I should get some tanks in the mix?

Well Arabia surrendered a long time ago, after I relieved the civ of its first three cities. First the army I sent after Russia all those ages ago razed another Aztec city. As I said, I assembled a task force of two infantry and six marines (all with amphibious promotion!) and when they got to Tenochtitlan, they actually outnumbered the defenders two to one! So...yep, The Aztec capital was razed in the process, with only a marine and an infantry lost. Then my main army captured another city, and then...plop, Montezuma was willing to surrender. Conquest victory obtained in 1973, my earliest finish date and best score so far in BtS.
Funny how all my victories have been rather cheap (backdoor domination, culture victory with the culture slider, conquest victory by obtaining vassals). Next time...I run a specialist economy!
EDIT: Even better to note is that I ended the game in Representation instead of Police State. War weariness wasn't all that crippling since I only aimed for certain cities and then induced the AIs to capitulate. Not to mention that vassals give you happiness, making it easier to manage war weariness. Yeah, seems like the designers really intend that you use the vassal states feature. Also I had a Combat V/Pinch/March Infantry at the end of the game. Truly some experience!

Okay, I've started writing a report on my Viking game. Currently only text in MS Word '97; still haven't signed up for Photobucket yet.
Because I couldn't wait, I already started a new game as Lincoln. Here's what's been happening so far:
-Opponents met are Gilgamesh, Louis, Charlemagne, Asoka, and Wang Kon. That's only one financial leader so far and only one industrious leader.
-Predictably, Louis has snapped up both Stonehenge and The Great Wall, but I am the proud owner of The Pyramids, built in 725 BC (!). I had stone nearby (yeah, stone + philosophical leader = craziness), and built it in my second city (after finishing a monument), chopping down two hillside forests to speed up construction (unfortunately the city is in unhealthiness now!). I should get a great engineer in a bit less than 25 turns.
-America has invented writing and iron working, but the great nation's GNP sucks to high heaven. Next techs are alphabet, literature, aesthetics, mathematics, music, and philosophy. Thanks to the horrible state of my GNP, The Great Library is essential! I have no marble on hand, but with a GE on hand...should be nothing, right?
-The charismatic trait has already begun to pay off in spades, as I have a Woodsman II Warrior and City Garrison II Archer, both with only 4 XP. Plus, my capital is at size 6; it would be unhappy right now without the trait. Perhaps it will be one of my new favorites.
-Gilgamesh and Charlemagne are my neighbors. Um, I have bad memories of this one time where I got Gilgamesh to pleased and then he declared war and wiped my civ off the face of the earth without blinking an eye, so I've built more defenses then usual, thus slowing down my expansion a tad bit (only three cities right now; capital was training soldiers and building a barracks and granary while NYC was building The Pyramids). And having a creative leader as a neighbor is always annoying...is Gilgamesh another Catherine when it comes to AI personality? UH OH!!!
Civilization IV sure runs like a dream on my new computer.
