Yea, i am def wanting Agri, AH and Pottery sooner rather than later tbh, Really being financial and all this warter is making me feel a run at Fishing/Sailing for the GL and Collosus would be a good idea aswell, Oricale is somthing i was thinking about, but i know from reading up on some of the games on here it does put a large bullseye one your back building it, even more so than the Medatation/ Buddism, so i have decided against it unless i get BW and no-one has built it i may try for it before getting writing. Archery may slot in earlyer depending on how the game feels, but i dont want to delay Writing too much ether......... (why can i not tech and build evrything at once )
the NE warrior will be acouting round to the SE so that should give me a nice map of the local area and allow us to make some decisions on how we plan to move this game forward.

Collossus could potentially be pretty good for you though there would be a lot of competition from the industrious civs and/or whoever gets the Oracle.

Ok, Weekend report time.
First the Map:
As you can see, we seem to have alot of our own space, that ,akes me think the best option is to expand out East if possable and back fill later. thoughts ManiaMuse??
Scouting wise, - Eastern Warrior is going to be going roughly SE for now but will detour SW SW for the next 2 Turns to defog that pach next to our Cap so we can decide where to place our next City.
- Soutern Scout will head NEE and if my hunch is right, connect up with our lands to the East.
- Western Warrior ill head West once more, then about turn towards the cap and start exploring the NW Penensular to see if we need a blocking city near there.
Tech Wise:
Argi is in, started AH. Next tech may be decided over our eventual Dot map (ManiaMuse, if you could produce a Dot map of your prefired Settling location i would apreciate it ) i will produce mine over the next day or so (2T till settler Due so there is a need for haste) however i may go: - AH (12T) --- Pottery --- Mining --- BW --- Archery --- Writing --- Fishing
Build plan:
- Settler (2T) --- Worker --- Settler --- Granary
City Screen:
Victim of my own Idiotcy, worker had nowt to do for afew turns as he cannot farm or heard Cows so has been on road Duty instead.
Demograph Screen:
Yea, i need to get somthing sorted about this

I might make it a bit tighter myself, with food a bit scarce it can be useful to have cities that can swap food depending on what they are doing at that point. Don't worry about overlap too much, it's better to have flexible midgame cities than ones which can work all their tiles right at the end.
Some thoughts:
- Gold city should be a priority, possibly even the 2nd city you settle? Happiness seems to be at a premium on this map and the only other happiness you have found so far are the tundra silver and whales. However your current gold city location wastes quite a few grassland tiles which in the long run are better than coast. You could move your gold city 2W to share the pig with the clam city. You could also possibly move the southwestern pig city 2N to get the pigs and wheat and settle another commerce city on the river if you find food down there.
- Northwestern pig/corn city is very strong for a hybrid commerce/production city. Could also be a useful chokepoint but you might want to check what else is up there first.
- Tundra cities are surprisingly strong. Definitely don't delay them too long, even if it doesn't join the eastern landmass.
- You need a city to get the corn south of the capital (on the plains hill next to the whale perhaps? Again don't worry about overlap too much)

Ok, will rethink the map abit, i have sent the completed settler to settle on the spot 2W of my preposed gold city as sudgested (good idea )
also we have met Sleepmoogle (Louis of the Babylons) his warrior is 1W of the pig for the gold city on a hill.
Set Build to worker (5T) and settler will settle in 5 or 6T.
