Crash to dos with a message saying 'Not a valid sound file':

Ouch.
There is something really problematic with the combat, some data instability. I have not touched sound at all - this must have some other source. Not nice at all, I have to say.

I tried playing with warlord, and got a unit up to 300xp.
For normal troops, the level after champion is hero.
The bonus is an extra heart.

I guess at some point it might be worth trying for warlord + crusade to see what a normal unit at 300xp gets.

Think I forgot to put the extra cap for warlord / crusade units.
