On the contrary, poor Yuri, units are how I earned all my gold. City states, barbarian camps, and an annoyingly large number of gold results from my hard-earned huts.

We don't need no stinkin' soldiers, war is bad! And killing poor wounded scouts to gain just a little culture is even worse! Our superior knowledge will protect us! And you did not have most soldiers last turn smile

Did anyone of you clever guys figure out how the soldiers stat works by the way? Its changes seem to be completely random, goes up by 200 on a turn when a unit is built, and by 1000 on a turn when nothing happened. Our scientists, wise though they are, still cannot solve this mystery
