Naming scheme

Why not from Adventure 1 to Adventure 47, or something like that? They'll really need to check to see our founding order (and it's tough remembering all of them). (And using only those which can fit in).

Frozen Jungle
Hieroglyphics
Godot
The Cradle
The Warlords
The French
Stagnation
Legionnaire
Divided We Fall
Catherine
Sixth Column
King of India

Etc Etc.

Epics can be used for units, or vice versa.

I don't really care too much about this, but I'd like it if we picked the name "Rising Sun" for our capital, even if we go in order after that. It has nice symbolism attached to it, and I did design that game, plus it was a Deity scenario. All things that feel appropriate for this one.

I like the adventure/epics idea. Apart from that, i'm not too fussed.

Ok, will edit in my list of cities in the second post, for the turnplayer to pick from (or if we want to do it some other way). I'll see if I can make overstrikes of used city names.

As a voice of dissent... there are two things we can accomplish with our naming theme: making it easier for us to discuss cities, which is aided by being alphabetical and having short or nicely abbreviatable names; and making other teams like us because they think our naming theme is cool. So I'd pick pretty much anything else before picking insular references like past RB stuff. tongue

If our naming scheme is what we're relying on to get people to like us, we need to fire our diplo team and hire a new one. tongue

This!

I agree with past adventures/epics.

I really like 'Adventure One' for the capital.

Should we get 'Cuban Isolationists' in there somewhere?

That's from (two different) RB SGs, but I like adding some of the notable ones in there as well.

I'd also like to say I like Rising Sun for our capital- it does have that feeling of "capital-ness" to it.
