Well, I think I could either play or dedlurk someone. Hadn't noticed this one start up actually. Although, I suppose I could understand if I am not allowed to join into this particular game. (at least as a player)

It just feels that way to me. I don't know how significant adding in extra units would be, but if someone was new to BtS and was playing in a game with other new players, my inclination would be to give them as vanilla a game as possible because I'd see it as much as a learning process as an actual game. Adding in more variables could be confusing or detracting. I could be wrong, I'm talking from the gut here.

I think if players are new to the game, even though it moves slow, it should be fine for them. Personal opinion from a non-player is all that is though. smile

Yeah I kinda think the opposite, that because people are less used to the game they'll find the slow pace worse.

I'll probably ded-lurk someone. I'm interesting it getting more multiplayer experience. The main reasons I stepped out of the game posted earlier is because I don't want to have two full pbem's yet, and I probably am not really a green, which I only realized after seeing and reading from people who are actually green :P

Hmm. How about just giving everyone an additional warrior and an additional worker? These are generally the first two builds anyways, so everyone is happy wink

And, if there are no severe objections, I'd like to nominate my own candidacy for this race er, this game. wink


I know that Instinct is currently afk, but the way we were teamed up seemed to work quite well. Especially since many of these people are new to MP, I'd probably suggest that of the 5-6 official 'players' at least one or two become 'teams' that share the turn responsibilities somewhat. Could really make the time slot/ player order more flexible. And could keep turnspeed up during what would otherwise be a lag due to one player. I would encourage the more teams the merrier.
