Never knew you were in my neck of the woods. Whereabouts are you living?

Cork. Just here until May though then back to the states for me.

If possible, if you all can determine what our potential short term goals will be once the first workers come on, I can try and determine the most efficient ways of going about them.

Possible 2nd city site SE near the seafood. The cap is already a high food location though, we don't need another one just yet until Writing (what we do need is a production city). Also a corn to the W to use at some point (with 4 hills, maybe a production city?...). Little less sure where to send the scout next though, could go E onto that hill but perhaps SW to see if there's any more food near those 4 hills.

Still no food found, although a whole bunch of spices. I'm thinking scout should rotate anticlockwise around the capital and then I dunno.

Everyone has a GNP of 18/19, so that means everyone is working on a tech with a pre-req, with the extra commerce coming from tile yields. Since everyone starts with Mining, I'm thinking everyone is going BW but AH is an option too.

Wrong, seafood unimproved is 2/0/2 so it is weaker then working the rice. Means not starting with Fishing isn't as bad as I thought. smile

Well Mids is most likely our main early goal, either from Oracle-MC or building it outright. I think we want at least 2nd cities each before starting on either of those though to continue expansion. so perhaps work on getting that first settler out ASAP? I know Gandhi will want at least 2 food improved ASAP as well (maybe 3 if building the 2nd workboat doesn't delay the 1st settler by much). Haven't looked at HC in great detail yet, but perhaps another goal is figuring out when to mine the gems? If we do build Oracle the bottleneck is most likely going to be teching Priesthood.

We could meet up before you go home, it's only two hours down from Limerick.

And if you haven't been I recommend going to the Franciscan Well and trying a few of their beers. Nice little craft brewery.

Turns are moving fast, we were up again when I woke up. Played both, but I'll leave HC to you again next turn.

Scouts didn't find anything other then some jungled food.

Lots of food, though half of it is jungled, and another source of gems. Not much fresh water besides the lake, but I can live with that

Which way should I move my scout? I'm tempted to move on the rice then head further south.

Also why is it so quiet here all of a sudden? I guess not much is happening right now...

As I said in other threads, I've been pretty busy lately. More specifically relevant to this game, I've been waiting for a bit more scouting before figuring out what to do next.
