Have you considered taking Ballroom dance lessons with your wife? That counts as exercise! Your posture (and posterior) will be all the better for it too, as such dancing requires you remove your hind ends from chair-glue. Your wife may be happier for it too, or kick your hiney to get up and dance. Maybe.
