I`m all for asking for a mapmaker to step forward asap but as it stands we have 6 players + Dark Savant who might join in and I`m basically waiting for another couple of players before closing the sign-ups.
As for settings, does anyone have strong opinions? I stated my preferred settings in the first post.

I'll only play if it's AI diplo, RTR and pitboss.
But I'm already in one game so I'm happy to step down if you go for other settings. I wouldn't want to force other players out. I'd rather new players get a chance.

AI diplo for sure
Prefer RtR but not strongly
Think it should be PBEM if 6 or fewer players and Pitboss if 7+
Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to rush things - just getting slightly impatient

I'm fine with both RtR or BtS Standard.
Same for PBEM vs Pitboss, but in the case of Pitboss would it be possible to setup a test game, so that I can test my setup and if I can connect to the server?
I would love to play a game without AI diplo as this is an aspect I don't know from singleplayer, but if the majority is in favor for AI diplo than I'm fine with it. Better to play one multiplayer than none.
I prefer Events / Huts off and the map choices so far are ok for me.

I'll withdraw actually. You've got enough people without me (for a PBEM at least) and I wouldn't want to get a civ burnout 6 months from now.
This way I won't dilute the settings discussion.

I'm interested. Ok with any settings, but do prefer AI diplo since I won't have oodles of time for anything else. If my signup changes this from PBEM to pitboss, I'm happy with sitting out.

I`m only interested in playing a Pitboss, so if you guys want to play a PBEM instead I`ll step down. If Rusten is out and Wetbandit is in we`re still just short of having enough players for a Pitboss.

Well, you started this, so I certainly don't want to displace you from the game you're starting. I think a few other folks will come out of the woodwork and we can still get to 7-10 players.
