Hi! Thanks for the offer. I'll be away June 10-16, but it seems you're only going to start later in June anyway. I was thinking of looking for a Civ 6 duel game after that, and I don't think I'd have time for both. I'll think about it for a bit.
The hope is a late june start, and i would still like to have a more experienced player to give advice to each green player as a ded-lurker if possible..

Is this a RtR, AI-diplo type affair?
After your win in the last green/vet pitboss you could also get in as a vet

I'm hoping people are stil linterested in this. How are we doing for numbers? The current BTS SG is ... ongoing, but I don't think it's going to shake any fresh players out of the trees.

I might be willing to play a game of Civ4. I haven't played in a few years, but I'd guess I'm not a greenie...

I'm not a vet but neither do I have the time to be fulltime player. If anyone need a semi-experienced ded-lurker I'm in.

I'm still on the fence. I'm the greenest of the green here, and I'm not sure if I want to invest months into a game where I'll be left in the dust from the start. (Though a dedlurker would certainly help here, chumchu!) Also, I haven't looked at what RTR does yet.
I'm still not sure if I understand Pitboss. Here it says that all players can watch the map and select build orders at any time, but only one player can move units, then it passes to the next. Is that correct? I somehow seem to remember from reading some report that players can move simultaneously, and if two are at war, they only get to move on different halves of the turn timer.
Either way, if we set a generous turn timer, this sounds much more relaxed than a PBEM.

I'm willing to dedlurk someone; I don't think I have the time to play a PitBoss regularly.

And yeap, pitboss demands less discipline than PBEM since you dont need to have stable play window at the same time of the day. However you are expected to play everyday at least once.
