Yes. Also as far as leaders... im looking at Agg/cha. Agg/exp. Agg/imp. I SHOULD be able to get one of those. If not ill have to look at a backup.

One other question, I’m hoping to sit down this week or weekend and sim about 30 turns a few times to see what would be possible. Are sandboxes usually provided or should I create my own once you get a leader picked?

Pb38 i believe had sandboxes made for us. Pb 39 didnt. Commordore i believe is alone in mapmaking so, although having pre-made sandboxes would be amazing.. im doubtful.

6. Coeurva and OT4E -- Shaka of Rome
5. shallow_thought & Hitru -- Ghengis of Persia
4. Magic Science & Mr. Cairo -- Mao Zedong of Inca
3. superdeath & masterjason -- Boudica of Zulu
2. RFS-81 & haphazard1 -- Pacal of ??? Up!
1. Charriu & Zalson -- ??? of China Next!

Once everyone has chosen, ill do some bad guesses on why everyone chose what they did along with ranking.

My wife works tonight, so assuming the kids don’t tire me out early, I’ll get some time tonight and will take a stab at a sandbox. Hopefully the other two picks come in today so i can make a realistic sandbox with appropriate enemies.

Also, I’d assume one of the following 4 map setups:

Pangea with ocean all around
A continuous strip of land with a northern and southern ocean
2 3-person continents
3 2-person islands
All of these would almost certainly have Astro islands as well

Now watch it be some crazy lakes map with no oceans.

Player Analysis!

Coeurva and OT4E -- Shaka of Rome
The Aggressive team. Shaka AGG/EXP allows for explosive growth with expansive, and agg for maintenance right as it will start to matter, as they are building their UU. With OT4E helping guide Coeurva, i see them as the first team to declare war, and very likely to win/place.
shallow_thought & Hitru -- Ghengis of Persia
AGG/IMP allows for faster cities, at reduced cost. Persia's UU is one of the best, and im glad that we have the impi to counter it. I predict this team to do very well, and is poised to win if they can dogpile someone. If we start near them, a partial choke with impi or at least "encourage" them to settle in a different direction. lol
Magic Science & Mr. Cairo -- Mao Zedong of Inca
Your EXPLOSIVE start team. PRO inca, + expansive workers? If they arent in a great position by currency, something went wrong. If they capitalize on their early game, i expect them to take a lead that might be hard to catch up to.
superdeath & masterjason -- Boudica of Zulu
AGG/CHA Zulu. Need i say more? CHA for growing tall, AGG/Ikhanda's for growing wide. Hanging gardens is a really good wonder for us. I personally put us right behind Coeurva and OT4E. Tied with shallow_thought's team.
RFS-81 & haphazard1 -- Pacal of Mongolia
Your eco-friendly leader meets Keshiks. I can see them struggling in the early game, but if they can eat a neighbor with keshiks or at least get more than their fair-share of land financial "should" push them farther and farther ahead. Great neighbor to have, no AGG or PRO to help them out, and keshiks come a tad late with HBR.
Charriu & Zalson -- Toku of China
China with a first pick, a bit of an oddball considering what was available.. But with china's starting techs, and Choke-on-you's and with AGG reduced maintenance they can be warmongers. PRO keeps them on par for the early game, and keeps them alive should they be rushed.

OT4E's team-
Shallow_Thoughts team/ US-
then a 3 way tie between Charriu/RFS/Magic.

Those are my predictions.

Im betting its one of these. As splitting up people onto different continents would be IMO, disastrous. As a early war/kill snowballs so much easier without fear of dogpile/punishing.

I -think- this should be an accurate sandbox, at least until we move or settle and gain vision on multiple new tiles.
