City naming convention idea: Musical artist or band names. Each city we settle we embed a song for as we plant it (or capture it). And if it gets captured or razed we embed another song, only sadder.
 Capital would of course be Thomas Dolby.

On our pick I'm still planning Pro/Ind if it reaches us, I just was thinking of Inca as a possible civ pairing if Mali doesn't make it too. I'm not locked in on Mali but I do like it.

I am on board with taking Ind/Pro or Ind/(insert early trait here) as our leader traits, and I like Mali as a civ pairing as well if we can do it. Alternatively, we could try one of the more watery civs because this is Big and Small.

I know that that's true, but ind leaders are more likely to head towards early metal casting and more likely as a result on this particular map likely to go for colossus, which is on my mind.
