[SPOILERS] Dazed and scooter play Stalin of Vikings and make a big mess

It's not an urgent need for sure. We're curious where our horses are and it's an optional pre req for writing. We took a look and decided we won't be building a library until we have writing anyways so we might as well get the discount (plus the added knowledge of horses). Thinking about it now, it probably wasn't worth it but oh well.

Sailing woulda probably been better but even then, we are not gonna be able to build a lighthouse/galley for a while.

Basically like Dazed said - for the prereq bonus on Writing + finding horses. I've theorized that we may have some horses in the plains to Scarlet's west. Also figured we'd want a Library in Scarlet before we'd build a Trading Post, as we're going to want the other two cities giving us workers/settlers pretty early here.

And if we have horses, it gives us a legit option to hold Brick down if need be.

Still nothing interesting to report. Workers are building roads. Baskervilles grows in 2 turns. We then have to decide if we want to whip the rest of the axe or not. There's not really a good second tile to work until we pop borders. but whipping without a granary is not great. On the other hand, it's 11 turns for the axe to finish naturally. It'll speed up by a few turns if we work the grass forest when we grow. I will also have some workers completing a grass mine soon after the growth so probably just wait.

Next turn is the big Oracle chop when we find out if we calculated the hammers right. If yes, we should finish the Oracle at EoT. If not...... well no one has built it so far so let's hope that means no one is going for it.

Big things happen at the end of this turn:

So we at least have a coinflip change of getting it!

Brick hasn't had any more crazy power spikes has he?

Brick's power:

Hm. Those are all pretty trivial until those last couple ones.

But to be fair, our graph is a terribly unimpressive one which means that Brick's probably looks stronger than it is. We literally have built one warrior this whole game! lol

Dying for Brick to end turn right now as I'd like to see if we landed Oracle.

So I was thinking about something the other day. Because map trading opens up at Writing (another reason to go AH->Writing), I think there's a strong chance circumnavigation will be decided by clever map trading instead of boats. Here's the problem though: say you have a straight 1-for-1 trade where both people are close to circumnav. They accept, thus simultaneously circumnavigating. Who gets it? I'm pretty sure in SP the player always gets it, but I'm guessing that's because the human is always Player 1 and thus first in the turn order.

So with the way Pitboss goes, I would guess it would go to a coinflip...? Is that a good guess? I'm not sure if there's really a way to worldbuilder test this to be sure. I'm pretty sure circumnav bonus gets added at EoT, which if that's true, then coinfip would be the decider in Pitboss.

Basically, I think our only chance at circumnav is map trading since we have such a late start due to the fact that we've sunk 650h into wonders so we haven't been able to afford scouts.
