It seems turn will be rolling worst possible moment for me. I might be able to take it later, but would prefer not to stress it. Micro is simple: Workers should finish farming Corn and capital should start working it. So anyone that could play?

Depending on when thestick means "morning" is (I don't have a clue what timezone he's on ...) I might be able to pick it up. I am out this afternoon for a while tho (UK afternoon), so may not be the best person.
To be clear - both workers are sitting on Corn, I just need to press the farm button? And the scout is to move 47?

That would be great pling. I suspect thestick is from states since he sounded like he is heading to bed so turn should roll within next 5h.
yeah scout 47 - I logged in and also changed the tile to be worked as Corn. Don't remember exactly, but if either of the workers are unemployed this turn chopping the forest either N or NW is right. Warrior should protect the worker furthest away.
Workers hadn't finished till end of turn, next turn is when they move
I'd suggest 78 for the scout next, I think.

I have to run.
For whoever's playing the next turn, the important thing to remember is that our easternmost worker should not keep chopping the forest that he's on, he should move to the wine, farm, and cancel.

Should we bring our Warrior back home? Darrell darrelljs Wrote:Sounds good. You can grab this turn if you want I'll be at work for some time and we are up. Should we bring our Warrior back home? Warrior should cover our workers. Our next warrior is soon ready so I don't think we need to be too worried.
I've been running some tests trying to find out what to tech after Wheel and how to settle. There are numerous options, but here are some thoughts for public inspection:
* Concerning Pottery vs AH. I like AH more. Granted we would love to build Granaries while growing, but we also need some military so building warriors/Chariots is not bad either, especially if we're going to settle aggressively. * Gold city feels our best 2nd spot, but settling towards the center NW from capital in a place that claims Wheat, copper and sheep is very good candidate too. Former has obvivously gold and it is closer to the stone that we would really like to end up claiming, but latter place is long term way better and provides good stepping stone towards the center of the map. Both cities have good amount of forests and enable e.g. chopping out 2 Fast workers out very fast while capital would produce a settler for our 3rd city. |
