Turn 39
Our warrior beat the lion flawlessly.
Then lunch reveals Whale. We could settle on the hill as we can net (harpoon?) the whale with Sailing.
I haven't settled Bay of Pigs yet - let me know what you think we should do. I'm inclined to settle our original location as I don't think the ocean tiles are that good and we can grab the whale if we settle on the other side of the sea or pop BoP borders to third ring, but I'm not certain. We're second last to play, so I'd like to do this in the next couple of hours...
Also Yurimack's scout just turned up down south. I've assigned eps to them. I'll also move our warrior towards them, just in case we get a shot.

Spamming a bit more - I've looked at the sims again and the whipped workboat has two workers being built but incomplete by t49, while the non-whipped version has hammers in some warriors - so our two versions are:
Whipped workboat:
Foodhammers = 521
Beakers = +3
city A = 18 turns whip anger
city B = 5t anger
city C = 0t anger
+1 Warrior
No whip workboat:
Foodhammers = 548
Beakers = -3
city A = 8 turns whip anger
city B = 15t anger
city C = 0t anger
2 Workers nearly ready
So I'd prefer not to whip the workboat. Obviously the whale throws all this into doubt, I'll run a sim of that now to see what it looks like.

I trust your sims, so let's not whip the WB this turn
Are you sure whales can be used with sailing already? Isn't optics the requirement? My gut feeling still leans on the original spot also as it can work both grassland and plains hill mines, while the new spot would lose both.

Just to clarify, I meant I preferred the original location.

I ran through it once to check and settling on the hill puts us a couple of worker turns behind and delays the third worker by about five turns. Also whaling is immoral. So we settle Bay of Pigs leaving the big blue monsters to their own devices and end turn. I'm glad you guys both agree...
Turn 40
I've moved all the workers and the scout but I think the warrior needs to wait until after Yuris plays - is that right?

Yuris' scout disappeared and I moved the warrior into Agincourt for MP.

Not a lot going on this turn. Agincourt will grow to size four eot 43, once that work boat nets the fish (the warrior isn't needed for mp until size 4, but it doesn't hurt to have him near). Bay of Pigs is working the sheep and will chop the roaded forest next turn, then whip the work boat the minute it grows to size two.
Should the scout heal in place next turn, then make his way down here to spawn-bust for Cannae?
Demos
By the way, I'm going to be away from about 3pm on Friday to Sunday evening - can you cover the turns or should I see if I can fix up a laptop with the mod?

Plan for the scout is good! And based on my current knowledge I should not have any problems for taking the weekend turns!
Btw, using both workers to pasture sheep along with roaded forest was an excellent improvement compared to my original micro plan. I believe that this earlier sheep is very much the reason why delaying the 2nd WB is not a problem and whipping was not needed
EDIT: Well, when I look at the scoreboard and demos it's evident that our micro planning simply is not enough.. And when I look our surrounding, the things probably aren't going to get much better either ![lol lol](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif) Well, let's still keep making the most out of situation, select right places where to gamble and hope that macro development is favorable to us.

We continue to bump along at the bottom of the scoreboard, I guess we just hope that dtay will leave us in peace and/or donate us a few cities. Unfortunate to have an AGG civ start near us. Our EP ratio with dtay is 51/88 and with Yurimack it's 0/12, so looks like we'll have graphs on them in five or six turns.
On micro planning I just realised the sandbox must have had a forest growth, meaning chopping out the library in Cannae isn't going to be so quick as I'd hoped. I'll see about optimizing the start of the next city this evening.
