Latest patch notes summary...

-Kayle's heal buff isn't going to suddenly make her strong.
-Janna's ult costing less mana means I'll (and others) be able to save enemies more often
-Leona can hit more E's
-Orianna will be a little more popular because she's slightly less blue dependent.
-Sejuani has a mana cost reduction and a CDR reduction on 2 skills, this still doesn't solve the issue of what role does she take on a team.
-Teemo move quick buff and higher dps with poison could be significant, expect to see him more commonly when someone picks a melee AD top.
-Zilean uses less mana on his speedup/down and significantly less on his ult. He's out of favour though at the moment and I don't think this is enough to suddenly make poeple play him.
-Atma's HP > AD ratio has been cut by 0.5%. This is a quick list of how much your AD is affected, the old Atmas's AD increases listed first.

2,000 HP - 40 AD - 30 AD
3.000 HP - 60 AD - 45 AD
4,000 HP - 80 AD - 60 AD

I can't remember who said it on stream but you have to remember that Atma's was only built on one type of champion so was it really any more broken than an IE or deathcap? It's not moved into Tiamat useless territory but it really hurts some champions.
-Dorans Blade + Ring give less HP....Considering boots + 3 pots is almost standard on everyone now this doesn't make much sense to me. I guess Riot dislikes people stacking these items early on? How about you make them have unique passives but buff them slightly so they're a viable option vs the sustain of 3 pots?
-XP gained from having multiple champs nearby has been increased. I don't think this is a huge deal but is Riot trying to make having no jungle and 2 in both side lanes a real possibility?
-A lot of ingame text changes, will have to see what this looks like before judging.
-A search function for custom games, certainly a nice addition.
-MR runes are nerfed.
-MPen runes buffed.
-AP glyphs buffed.
-Sion and Vlad bot added to Coop vs AI, expect players to be unhappy about OP Vlad and his pool. lol

Doran nerf is to stop triple stack of those items. Triple doran ring mid is really strong.

I really don't get buffing Jana, but I suppose it's not a massive buff. Buffing orianna is nice though, she's a really interesting/high skill cap champ. Hopefully that's enough to make her safe to play at tournaments.

This patch seems to have bugged out my client. The allied exp bar is missing, I've lost sounds in picking, Skins selected from before have reset...

The Janna changes are a nerf. Lower knock-up time for quick tornadoes (20% reduction) and lessened knock-back on her ult (12%). The mana cost buffs don't nearly compensate for the reduction in her CC.

After reading the patch notes- Jana was definitely not buffed, she was nurfed-
Howling Gale now knocks the target (now 80 + 10 per second channeled from constant 100)
Monsoon- Knock back distance reduced to 875 from 1000

That's a pretty decent hit to her escape abilities.

You are right. She's already extremely strong and versatile (AD carry bot, viable top lane and even mid lane). She doesn't see much play, I figure, mostly because she isn't much of an initiator, other AD carries or mids are more popular overall, but that doesn't mean she's weak.

Hard for me to decide if it's more on a "buffy" or "nerfy" side. The mana cost is definitely helpful.

It will help her sustainability in the jungle, for one thing. Her jungle phase itself is quite weak, most junglers being able to easily beat her up.

Time and time again he shows up at tournaments and proves his worth. While his burst diminishes vastly later in the game, he still has a ton of utility particularly in a team of divers or the "protect the V.I.P." comp. Maybe those changes will make more people take him to solo queue.

While I don't like the nerf that much because Atmogs was FotM rather than staple and that there are many other viable ideas for itemizing a bruiser, it still remains a very cost effective item. The AD bonus is quite good even if you only have 2000 HP.

Everybody and their aunt stacks some early Doran items, I guess Riot wants to see less of that. We still have our Wriggles, double gp/10 and Revolvers for go-to choice of a starting item.

She's still one of the best supports and mages in the game; 125 distance isn't groundbreaking, Howling Gales will probably feel more rewarding overall other than the standard "double tap the Q", less mana on ult might be helpful and might actually not be so annoying to have to level it up and eat another huge mana cost.

Atma's used to become gold efficient at about 1050 health, now it becomes gold efficient at about 1550 health. It is still a really solid item it just isn't quite as crazy on champs with 3000+ HP. At 2% conversion you used to get 2200 gold worth of ad at 3000 hp and you could just look at the other stats as bonus!

I build it on lots of champs and still will, it remains an absurdly cost efficient item for the characters that will use it.

Also the new kill messages are hilariously over the top.

I like the improvements to the UI such as the new jumping color numbers, EXP bar around the Lv circle, and the regen in the HP and MP bars. The color numbers are pretty helpful when it comes to differentiating how much damage you are doing for each.

Hello,

I`ve been lurking RB for years looking into your CIV IV games to improve my own strategies.

Also been lurking Sulla`s site for longer then I can remember and finally decided to see what was this LOL stuff he was talking about.

Long story short after installing, reading a lot and trying a few custom games to get to know at least 1 champion, I picked Heimerdinger since it`s available free and it seemed like a solid choice for a noob. Having pets turrets couldn`t hurt.

I finally got into a real game, as scared as I could be.

My first game was a outstanding sucess. 29 kills 0 deaths. I farmed more then twice the amount of gold then anybody else and got 50 more minion kills then second place.

Begginer`s luck or not, now I`m even more scared of my next game, since it will be hard to top it off.

So I came here to these forums to see if you guys organized games or played together, even with noob players =).

My summoner`s name is Platot.
