I can't seem to get this to work.

I really just want it to be able to edit CoM 5.26 save game files for now. I am not sure if there is anything I need to do as far as installing the ILSe editor goes, my impression is that it is precompiled, so it's just extract and go. I am running CoM 5.26 in dosbox, but I also tried it with the base MoM just to see if that would work.

It is more than possible I am completely missing something here, so any help would be welcomed greatly. So far I can't even get ILSE editor to even run. (Some step by step "Instructions for Dummies" in the .tar would be super helpful)

I can boot into Debian 'Buster', but I kind of prefer the 'stable' jessie release version because it boots from the SSD and not the slower platter drives I have my other linux distros set up on.

Hey Serena, great program, congratulations.

I have experimented a "bug" using the program. I´m playing on Caster of Magic 6.0 and i tried to edit a lake/sea map tile. While it changes and you can see it as a new terrain, it keeps being not possible to move with land units as if it was yet lake/sea. Ive tried changing all the parameters but nothing works. Are you aware of this bug? is there a way to prevent it? Thanks!

Movement is not controlled by the tile types. There are 6 separate maps that describe their movement costs with various movement types. These maps are not available when you use the tweaker to "Connect" to a running game, as they are stored in expanded memory, which is not trivial to find in the DOSBox address space. To alter these tables, you need to "Load" a saved game instead, which you can then "Save" back after making the changes. I admit I haven't tried this in CoM, but it works just fine with the regular MoM versions.

Ok, tried your solution and didn´t work on the first time. I changed the 6 tiles and nothing. But then i exit the program, not just the game, and worked!

Is it possible to use Real-Time Game Tweaker with new version of the game, "Master of Magic - Caster of Magic for Windows" from Steam? Current version of tweaker (0.3.2) can't connect to game process.
