[SPOILERS] Novice and SevenSpirits play Suleiman of Korea

Settling ideas sound good. I am tentatively in favor of settling the deepest jungle spot first, with the main caveat being that if we only lose a turn or two by putting the next next settler there and save a few more turns on a closer settlement (due to roading timings) then I could "settle" for a closer spot with this guy.

Lewwyn decided to make things interesting. He's so aggressive. lol

He has an immortal southwest of King Ban. We have three workers, a spear and a warrior 1 north of his stack, and a spear in Not Mayors, and a chariot in Failed Sum. I think we'll be ok.

He demanded King Ban for peace.

So we can have 2 workers move onto the forest nw of horses, and next turn we can have 5 workers in range to road & chop it. That let's the spear in NM reach KB, and it lets us chop a unit in KB.

In completely unrelated news, Mackoti finished a library in his marble city. Culture situation on the contested tiles between his city and our city of Homely Pits is 17 culture for us, 25 for mackoti. We're making 5cpt and he's making 4cpt, so eot85 it will be 52 culture for us and 49 for Mackoti (his culture for the current turn has already been invested, ours hasn't). If I were Mackoti I would whip a monastery though - does he have Meditation btw?

Depending on the Lewwyn situation, we might have Music before t85, so we could escalate the culture war by building culture, building a temple, or building a monument. The latter two don't seem worth it, but if we can speed the border pop by a turn by building culture that's probably worthwhile.

Someone explain to this guy that it's a 4-player game. duh

Free trade route money = good
Free dead units from war = bad

Can't say I feel picked on since he's declared on everyone (twice on Parno, twice now on us, and once on Mackoti), but he's really hurting himself.

With him nuking our routes yet again (why doesn't he like free money, it's incomprehensible) I guess we should offer OB to Noblaspar. Our trade routes will be about recovered by now from that time when it was worth dozens of commerce for them to kill our scout. Unfortunately I doubt they will accept as they should also have functioning routes with both other players, and may see it as unnecessary even though the main benefit is that every foreign island city you can trade with is a buck.

OK, so we planned out our defense and Seven will finish up the turn later.

Just a few comments for Seven to read, that we didn't cover in chat:
1. Remember to cancel Nonogram's orders.
2. I'd move our settler NE-E to join our spear, so that Mackoti isn't tempted by two workers and a settler unescorted on the same tile.
3. I'd also move the spear in JiA onto the banana, to potentially defend our workers/settler/jungle city against Lewwyn's jungle immortal(s).

Still waiting for the next turn, it's with Mackoti.

I hope he's not considering joining in. Maybe that was Lewwyn's primary objective, trying to get some group action going.

It might look to mack's scout as if we're about to lose King Ban. Unless Lewwyn has more units moving up, we'd have to get quite unlucky for that to happen.

OK, so Lewwyn rejected our white peace offer and moved in his "stack".

We responded with these builds:

And we offered 25 gold for peace to Lewwyn, since we don't want him to pillage our silver, and we don't want others to pile on.

So how did we get that axe in King Ban? Well, as mentioned we had five workers in the area, two of which were able to move on to the forest northwest of the horses last turn, along with a spear we had in Not Mayor's. This turn they roaded the forest, and three other workers chopped the forest into the axe in King Ban. At the same time the spear moved along the new road and into the city.

This gave us this stack in King Ban after ending turn. At the start of the turn the city was empty. lol

And here's Lewwyn's stack:

The city should be pretty safe since he's attacking across a river. Let's hope Lewwyn takes peace, although something tells me he's not giving up so easily. But we can't see any reinforcements as of yet.

BTW I forgot to report the combat of turn 79. Our spear took out Lewwyn's immortal on the silver, and we then deleted the spear since it would just feed an extra promotion to one of Lewwyn's axes.

Also implied by the screenshots: We've decided to grab Feudalism before Music.

Save's in, I only had time for a quick peek. Lewwyn accepted our peace offer, yay!

Also, Mackoti declared on Lewwyn. lol
