[Spoilers] Dreylin's short visit to a late Era

Also by T287 we need to be 1 tile to the East from the city ( in the initial plan I meant to hide in the city, but it wont work because of culture).

We can also both whip and draft in Rabbits this turn.

The most important thing for now is not to mess unit moves. Remember that grenadiers are extremely slow and we will probably need them most of all since Gaspar's MG will be dead and I doubt they can produce anything except rifles. Galleons and frigate must also be around in time.

Y'know I have this feeling that he's going to plan on the flatland between the Horses and the Corn rather than on the Horse hill - I can't see any other explanation for why the Worker is on the Tundra tile rather than in the Forest. Well that's less defenses, but would it need us to move in another turn earlier?

I started shuffling the Grens last turn - there's one on the Siege staging tile 1W of Llamas and the other is in Chickens. I had been thinking of putting him on the Galleon that will complete there next turn, but maybe he needs to start walking now? The Siege will move over this turn with that Gren, and the "floating" Cavs can congregate 1NW of Goats this turn? I will push the Galleons & Frigate East as well.

Do we need to buy anything for the war effort in the new front city (Donkeys)? I have Culture building, then would go Theatre unless we want to be able to buy a Gren in a few turns? Buy priority is currently SotL, then Privateer?

Oh, I forgot to mention that I took the "trusting friend" approach with BGN last turn; moved the Rifle back into the city and left the Worker chopping. I also sent a Map Trade. He still hasn't planted a new city; maybe he's planning to come in our direction and that's what the Gren is for.

Gaspar will plant on horses, I bet. His MG will start fortifying and workers are making road to let him plant 1 turn earlier, next he will advance to the forest for sure.

BGN was the one who made circumnavigation, btw. And his gren is not fortifying in place he can plant. But I feel that he wont attack us now at least not to get worker. And it was right move to move rifle back because losing rifle and worker on flat ia much worse than just losing a rifle. Probably he is just teying to get sight of the city.

In donkeys we chop/whip trebuchet, we have just 1 and 1 catapult, right? In favorable scenario we dont need siege, but we'd better have those ready and on their way for different possible circumstances.

Transporting grens ia fully ok, good idea. Where to stack cavs is not very important, Cavs we cureently have must be 1 tile behind Donkeys on T285, others finish T285 in galleon. SoL we cant buy this turn and we'd better chopinto SoL before buying it. I will take a look tonight and may be find some fresh idea.

I thought that we had 2 Cats and a Treb when I was stacking them last night, but additional Siege is probably a good call regardless.

If we can't afford the SotL this turn, shall we go ahead and buy the Privateer or wait until we can build both in the same turn. No sight of a Galleon, so I guess he'd just be using it to bombard, if at all.

I don't know whether Gaspar is deliberately playing after us, or if it's just that my typical window is a bit earlier than his. I can leave it a bit later before playing tonight to see, but maybe it doesn't make much difference since he has limited whip capacity in the front cities right now anyway.

T286 we can hit that city with 6 cavs and rifle or whatever we have around, right? T285 he plants, but he will do it at the end of turn and we cant have more than 4 Cavs by that turn anyway.

Our borders will expand and even if he makes 20% in just one turn he will not gain control of the land tiles near his city. ... Oh, I believe he turns back when he sees than our borders popped.

Anyway it doesnt change much in our plans whether he plants on horses or near corn or make a filler city behind where I marked. He cant stand our attakc. I'd prefer it to be concealed as long as possible, but taking his front city from the dark will give him wrong impression of what is going to happen too.

Please no, 1st half is advantage in our situation imho.

I think 1 more cata from Donkeys will find its use. Theatre we dont really need there. Other idea is to chop worker.

Buy privateer, nobody knows what has he got in the mind.
Did we expand borders in island city?

No, started SotL; but I can switch and pop in 1t - at the time I figured not since we haven't lined up a WB for the Crabs and didn't realise we needed the chop before buying the SotL. But since we can 1t it, it won't interfere with anything.

BTW, Donovan moved his Explorer NE this turn, so next turn he will be watching the straights and will see us moving the fleet East.

Then he has nothing to bombard smile

I guess, I decline this?

Let's see what he did. And let's see if we want to sign peace before declaring Gaspar. It can serve as a disguise.

Probably he's just looking to renew the Peace and hasn't actually done anything. Not sure whether we take it or not TBH; if we don't, it does serve as cover for our attack on Gaspar, but then it would also provoke potential aggression from Donovan that we could do without. Hmmm.
