If the Gods decided to populate this world with elephants, then it is a decision we will have to accept and live with. It would not do to now petition them to reforge the world after we have shared the land with these magnificent creatures for such a long time. We can only pray that future worlds will receive closer attention to avoid unwanted elements when they are being created.

Given their low numbers though, the Celtic people agree that these beasts should not be squandered in pursuit of military goals.

Just a quick note - I will be gone this week from Monday - Friday. I have asked Strike to fill in again, so assuming he can play, the turns will continue on like usual. Diplo will probably stop for the week though, so don't expect any responses until Saturday... If it's super urgent, you can PM Strike, but I don't imagine that to be an issue at this stage of the game.

Would it be reasonable to put a reasonable cap on Ballista Elephants while banning other War Elephants? Something like one per city, or no more than 25% of Timmy's military units can be elephants? Then Timmy isn't screwed out of a UU but can't go elephant-stomping everybody.

(If Timmy gets the ivory, I have no idea if it's near him or not)
