Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten around to recompiling the updater with all the reported issues fixed. But, if you don't mind a bit of manual labor fixing the raiders bug (read the thread), and can refrain from opening the Info menu directly after an AI turn after which you get no notifications (this can result in a crash unless another screen/dialog is opened first, and the problem is not mentioned in the thread), it should otherwise already be playable.
