They teched Machinery. If I am them, and I saw our power graph, I might seriously consider Nationhood revolt too.

I'm not sure what either of you are thinking we'd say in a hypothetical follow-up? We've still got over 30 turns of NAP remaining with them.

I don't think we should say anything. I am saying what I think their response should be. Would you really trust an NAP if you saw that power graph?

Because you have no choice: absolutely. It's a signal the asker wants to hit someone else.

Ah yeah makes sense. Yeah I'd be inquiring about our power spike if I was them for sure.

From CFC:

Quote:Greetings RB Friends,

We needed our marble until very recently, and we will need our marble for our own plans again in about 15 turns, so we must insist you make a choice: Either you take the marble within the next 5 turns (t140-145), or we will have to waive our original agreed deadline and re-arrange our deal as we will then be outside of the turn 150 window.

We can't delay another ten turns because that is when we will be needing it back. We are prepared to offer it in-game now. If you do not accept it within the timeframe that we had agreed to, then we will have to try to come to a new one. I'm sure you understand as we both agreed that the gift could be arranged around both our teams needs for marble.

Thanks,
Caledorn, Foreign Minister of Team CFC

So they're trying to frame it as we agreed to accept and end our use of the marble by T150 now? And they have the balls to issue an ultimatum over it, threatening to waive what exactly? The resource deal where they have already got what they wanted out of it?

If they try to dick us around how about we do it back. Cut one of the happy resources. We don't need their marble. Maybe they don't need the happiness. I hope it sets their cities to riot.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, secure back line when at war. But they don't know where our stack is going. Let's see if they're hasty to say we violated the NAP deal by cutting the happy supply. It's no worse than what they've done by not supplying the resource they owe us in a fair way. And if they do say the deal is done, well we have a big stack and they don't. After they have a few cities burned they may reconsider. (How close is the mids city to our borders anyway? lol Burn!)

One other question. Our NAP is to 175 so we can't fight or actively support someone else fighting the until then, and they can't do the same to us I suppose. But they're surely building a coalition to dogpile us ASAP after T175. Does anyone think it would be a good idea to sign a MPP with the Spanish covering ONLY invasion from CFC? I'm not sure who else we can enlist on our side in a future dogpile, maybe WPC but they'll probably be as useless as the Spanish. Nevermind, a MPP is probably a terrible idea. But maybe someone else can think of a way to build an alliance for us for when the dogpile comes. Anything to soften the attack or distract/divert our attackers would be helpful.
